At a time in which there's a major shortage of tag teams, it seems like almost a waste that there were so many official tag teams in the past that never won the tag titles. I'm asking everyone which team do they think would be a good fit in today's WWE and be a viable contender for either tag title?
*Update* I just noticed I forgot Power & Glory. Damn.

Men on a Mission won them once.

I didn't count Men on a Mission because their win was accidental and only lasted a day or two.

Kai en Tai were SO over with the dubbed-over speech gimmick. Fans chanting along with them and everything. Add that to the fact that they were good workers, and it should've been a surefire success. But they kept getting jobbed out until Taka quit, so there goes that.

The Rockers.
Just so you know, the Holly's actually were champions, and Crash is sorta...dead now.

The Jinx Twins were just jobbers, so they didn't qualify.
And I also could have sworn the Hollys won the tag titles, but when I checked the archived list of champions, their names weren't there.

I meant to vote for head chesse because i miss Steve Blackman he may have been boring but he was cool to me for some reason. Just went out there and kicked the other guys ass could have been a great IC or US champ in my opinon.
I accidently voted for the Hollys
Imagine this stable: The No-Gimmicks Steve Blackman Ken Shamrock Lance Storm Chris Benoit

I wouldn't know why, I remember them as champs. It wasn't a long run, but it wasn't a Kane-like title reign either.

I went with Kronik.
They were good hoss workers, and could teach today's generation of hosses a thing or two.
Mostly "don't work with Undertaker."

Okay, so we're all clear. The Hollys had a two-week title rain. Sounds good. Thanks marksus.

Heck, when I was really watching wrestling, as a kid, tag teams meant a lot -- WWF had the Rockers, Demolition, the Powers of Pain and the NWA/WCW had The Midnight Express, the Fabulous Freebirds, the Road Warriors and even, the dig down into the ranks, the Dynamic Dudes. Back then, not to long ago, geeks like me could reason that tag team wrestling was such a special skill that even the top two singles stars, in any fed, if paired up, couldn't just win the title. Tag team wrestling was special -- a tag guy couldn't just dominate singles competition and two great singles guys couldn't dominate the tag division.
I miss tag teams. But, in the current environment, the fans will need to be convinced, through some long -term booking, that the tag division is just different than the singles division.
As for who I like... I voted for The Islanders. My favorite WWF championship team was honestly Haku and Andre the Giant, but I've always had a soft spot for polynesian teams like the Islanders or The Wild Samoans or The Samoan Swat Team -- guys who would react to a bash to the turnbuckle, piledriver or DDT by no-selling and retaliating with a headbutt -- I always marked out for that "you crushed my head but I didn't notice and bashed my head into you" spot as a kid.

I have to say the Rockers.
London and Kendrick should become a permanent team and switch over to Raw. They are in dire need of real face teams, and they would get more air time than they do now as individual cruiserweights. Officially christen them Insult 2 Injury, and have them both come out to Kendrick's theme.

I was a huge Kaientai mark. Now Taka's gone, I don't know what to think.
Except that he needs to be back on mainstream wrestling TV.
And win some sort of championship, like right now.

Kaientai, hands down. One of my favorite teams ever.
On a related note, I saw Funaki at the mall a couple of weeks ago.
