Well, I guess Santino is more of a comedy jobber but he sometimes sniffs the midcard. Right now I think Zack is more over but Santino has been consistantly a fan favourite for a few years now.

At the moment? Ryder, no question about it. Santino has been over longer but Ryder is hot right now.

I hope that Derrick Bateman gets his time as the major comedy guy eventually.

I'm going with Santino, solely due to his time in A.P.P.L.E.

Zack Ryder is getting a little bit more serious although he's still comedy but either way he's way over compared to Santino. It's not even close.

Ryder peaked higher, but his reactions have already died off significantly, even though he's just coming off a pretty heavily-pushed angle.
I think everybody loved the IDEA of Zack Ryder, as this obscure, barely-featured undercard guy desperately trying to get noticed who the big stars would make in-jokes about and who'd pop up in quirky cameos here and there. But once Ryder actually started appearing regularly and had to rely on his own talents in the ring and on the mic, he's just come across as... another competent midcarder. And there's nothing wrong with that, but competent midcarders are a dime a dozen.
Santino's shown the ability to keep getting shockingly good reactions through thick and thin, no matter what sort of crap he's saddled with. I don't think Ryder has that same talent.

Ryder might be the most over person in the company right now outside of Cena & Punk.

Ryder's not really comedy any more. Lighthearted yes, but he's taken seriously in ring now.

Santino by his finisher alone, a jab to the bridge of the nose accentuated with a silly green sock.

Ryder is happy-go-lucky and catchphrase spewing, but he's not really a comedy character to me. Santino definitely is a comedy character, and he's pretty good at it too.
