- Recent online reports have suggested that WWE is interested in signing several talents from TNA once their contracts with the company expire. Courtesy of PWTorch, here is a breakdown of the rumored names and if WWE is interested:
* Rob Van Dam - WWE is interested in bringing him back.
* Matt Morgan - WWE was interested in Morgan last year but he chose to stick with TNA.
* Bully Ray - WWE has shown some interest in the former Tag Team Champion. No word yet if they're interested in bringing Ray back with Devon as Team 3D.
* The Pope - Officials were interested early last year when he was being pushed but not so much anymore.
* Samoa Joe - There is no interest from WWE.
* Ink Inc. - There may be some interest in bringing back Shannon Moore down the road but Jesse Neal is viewed as a developmental prospect at best.
* James Storm and Robert Roode - WWE had interest last year in bringing Beer Money in as a tag team but word is that they're not interested in bringing the former TNA Tag Team Champions in as singles wrestlers.www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/Report_on_WWE_s_Interest_in_Top_TNA_Stars_-_Beer_Money_Rob_Van_Dam_and_Others.html

I remember hearing an interview with Devon earlier this year and he stated that he and Ray are on the same deal, so they expire at the same time. I'm sure the WWE will make an offer to both, as the two of them are in the midst of some of the best work of their careers right now. They're in shape, motivated and cutting great promos.

* Samoa Joe - There is no interest from WWE. Although, I'm slightly surprised that Hernandez and Magnus aren't on the list. They're both fairly young (especially Magnus), both have great physiques and they're both pretty good in the ring.

I find the Samoa Joe thing doubtful honestly, if only because of the success they've had with people like Punk. Plus the guy has plenty of TV experience and they could bring him straight to the roster as a result. Not to mention his buddies are the top two guys in the company.
Plus, it doesn't make a lot of sense for them to lose interest in Burke because of his push being halted. This entire list feels made up, since most of it doesn't make much sense. Like, what's stopping WWE from reuniting Beer Money? Why would they think they have a shot with Morgan if he turned them down last year?

It's like he completely stopped caring. I could see losing interest in him based on that.

Plus the guy has plenty of TV experience and they could bring him straight to the roster as a result. Not to mention his buddies are the top two guys in the company. Joe's contract expired not that long ago, and there was no interest from WWE, so Joe re-signed. What's stopping the WWE from going after Joe is the shape he's in. If he were to get back down to early 2008 shape, the WWE would take him in a heartbeat. But injuries and what appears to be a lack of motivation have taken their toll on Joe. What could be hurting Hernandez's shot is that he injured Jesse Neal and Chris Sabin.

This makes no sense to me, why would they not be interested in a person based on how they were pushed. They saw what he was capable of when he was pushed, its the fault of TNA not the performer, and WWE should be knowledgeable enough to know that. They are acting like Marks watching Impact saying ohh this guy is pushed lets get him, instead of just eyeing viable talent.

Samoa Joe is in sort of a catch-22. He for all intents and purposes seems to have let himself go based on TNA's seeming disinterest in him, which at the same time appears to be ruining any chances he has at going to the 'E.
As much as I hate to say it I think Joe's ship has sailed.

I thought Bubba Ray had heat with some of the writers or creative people.

I'd like to see Gunner, Brutus Magnus, and Beer Money brought over to the WWE, at the very least. While the WWE still makes stupid booking decisions, they'll be in a better situation than being involved in TNA's stupid booking situations, but that's me.
Van Dam and the former Team 3D (Brother Devon and Bully Ray) right now seem to be doing some great work, especially Team 3D, but I don't really see them coming.

Jesse Neal is a good developmental prospect, no doubt. They should grab a hold of him now.
As for Joe, he's too fat and unmotivated. Like, Husky Harris is fat, but he's motivated. Joe is just a blob right now, having his career destroyed by Vince Russo and his dreams crushed would make me gain a ton of weight too.

Joe has completely lost interest and has been phoning it in as a result. Hard to blame him really.

Maybe not so much Gunner because I could see him being wasted by the E (at least TNA is doing something with him). But Bobby Roode is the archetype of a WWE superstar.

I read this on the Torch and still find it not really believable. Hunter himself has displayed interest in Beer Money before TNA decided to break them up. I think WWE won't let TNA booking change their minds on hiring anyone. I mean they hired Consequences Creed, Amazing Kong, Ron Killings, and for a short while Lance Hoyt. Joe is in a weird position. He more than likely will re-sign wit TNA due to the comfort level he got with them. But he does have Steve Austin in his corner and he really helped get Kharma signed more than anyone else. A motivated Joe is big money. Matt Morgan has improved. Just needs to work more like a big man and less like a cruiserweight. Pass on RVD because he has taken his tired act to TNA and made it even more malaise. I'm good for the Dudleyz getting one last run.

I want to see Pope back at the wwe, given a good longer push this time to hopefully main event or mid upper card. Especially considering he was close to getting into TNA's main event only to be pushed back down to midcard at best
