I was reading some message boards and came along a few "Lashley doesn't even have a character" posts. Maybe SS is his moment to gain one.
Imagine. He enters the ring against Masters, battles a bit and gets caught in the Masterlock. A hushed shock from the crowd due to this devastating move...
Anyway, one of his teammates comes in to break it up and he shouts for them to stop. Then he starts to break it. Slowly, and finally with a roar. Then he could hit his finisher on Masters and eliminates him.
Insta-Hoss Cred +1!

No! Don't waste the Masterlock on him. It would be a good idea if it weren't him. But I'm biased.. I don't like him.

Lucky man, how can you not like Lashley? He's not really got anything for anyone to dislike about him. I like him because he's basically a cool hoss, at least to me. I like his sqaush matches and I think this Masterlock thing sounds like a great idea.

no.. because it hasn't been part of the feud. This would be a brilliant idea if the whole way through the Raw/Smackdown feud Lashley and Masters had been feuding over who was tougher.
As it is, its too out of no where..
With the right build up, it would have been awesome though..

Well I thought the "Lock" would be a chance to put over a new wrestler considering all the buildup. I don't get Smackdown, but Lashley seems to have some skill. It seemed like a good idea to me, but then again I liked Gang Wars of the early nineties. Always pulled for Savio, too.

He is really very sloppy in the ring when you look at the actual execution of his moves. Also, if you seen No Mercy, he has the ABSOLUTE worst mic skills this side of Sid. "Twenty cheeseburgers. EATEM." I just have found nothing about him that impresses me in the slightest. People have an ability to grow on me with time though, so I wouldn't ever rule out a possibility of me warming up to him.

I can almost guarantee Lashley will hit some kind of suplex on the Big Show at SS, like he was trying to do on Raw before Kane gave him the boot. I wouldn't be surprised if he eliminated Show too and break out of the Masterlock as well. I just have a feeling that this SS for Lashley will be like SS '97 when Rocky Miavia pinned a couple of guys and was the sole survivor for his team.
BTW: I'm a Dynamic Dude! Sweet! Where's my skateboard?

When Rocky was the sole survivor, he was going against guys like Hunter Heurst-Helmsley (pre Triple, obviously), Goldust, Jerry Lawler and Crush. With guys like Shawn Michaels, JBL, Batista, Randy Orton, and Rey-Rey participating, I'm pretty sure they aren't going to have Lashley standing alone in the end.

Lashley is there to be an elimination for Smackdown (Kind of obvious). However, before he goes he should get a big elimination to make him look better. Getting Big Show out or breaking the Masterlock seems like an ideal thing.

I don't notice that he's sloppy, he looks like he's really driving these guys to the mat when he takes them down. Chris Masters, on the other hand, is rather sloppy, and as I'm sure people like you will remember forever, broke Stevie Richards' face and, I guess, stopped Stevie's...potential...um...push? What was Stevie doing before that anyway? Lashley's got a great build, he's agile, he's strong and he's young. He's going places.

That whole backstage skit was HORRIBLE and it was because he was talking. It is very hard to watch cause I feel sorry for him. He looks uncomfortable. If he is going to be a monster, they need to never, I repeat, NEVER, let him speak. What do you mean people like me will remember that, like I give a s*** about Stevie? Getting his nose broke by Masters was probably the high point of his career in the last couple of years. And honestly, I don't dislike him because he's sloppy. Chris Masters is one of the few reasons I watch Raw anymore.. so sloppiness isn't really the issue. I just don't find anything about him that makes me feel like I should care. Did I mention his mic skills make me cringe?
