I was thinking that also about having him break the Masterlock, as other than Batista, he seems like the only guy who can,IMO. I know a lot of people aren't too high on him right now, but then Chris Masters was ragged on quite a bit back in February as well, so time will tell. I can't say everyone will warm up to him, but it takes time with some of the characters. I see SD winning this one.

If not Lashley to break the Masterlock, then most definitely The Boogeyman.

Lashley has no potential as far as long term goes. He has absolute zero charisma and on Monday looked somewhat lost during the Lumberjack match. This won't stop WWE from making him an unstoppable midcarder and maybe even put the US title on him, but even with that he won't get over so he'll end up just another failed attempt. I have to admit I was about to mark if he hit that suplex on Big Show. Nevertheless I don't expect too much out of him and I know I'm right.

Hey, speaking and finding a character doesn't come in 1 interview. He's never going to get better unless they let him talk. I don't know what some of you look for in a wrestler. He's big....he's fast....he's a rookie.....unlike other hosses he does moves....he has a legit amateur wrestling background....i dunno why people are complaining, he's got way more potential than anyone i've seen debut since brock lesnar.

People hated Masters since day -1, and now they praise Lashley...
The fact the guy has amateur wrestling background doesn't mean he can be a good pro wrestler. As far as I've seen, I'm not impressed with him at all. Pretty much like I did with the Masterpiece, but at least his Masterlock Challenge made something for him.
Let's wait and see what Lashley can do, but if we're talking about the usual "new hoss push", then my answer is Hell No!
He needs a feud with a seasoned worker and some in ring time, then WWE can think about a push.
Having him defeating one of the RAW superstars'd make little sense, otherwise than killing the other guy's momentum.
Had Lashley hit a big impact move on Big Show, I'd have smashed my TV.

Yes, he's getting a push becase of his size.
But he definitely has more potential than Masters does.
I think the way to book Lashley in this match is to have him stand his ground against Kane and Big Show for a bit, possibly hit Show with a huge move before being overwhelmed and eliminated.

Lashley wasn't in ROH, isn't a Cruiserweight, and doesn't do flippy moves, so the IWC hated him before he debuted.
Peckerheads.

^It seems that way, some people will be impressed and some won't. I don't mind him on Team SD, and no he's not exactly Jake Roberts on the mic, but he's a big hoss with a credible background, so Vince is going to use him.

I like how they're not starting Lashley out on a megapush. They're working their way up with him. People hate on someone just because they're big, then in 6 months they're kissing his ass. The same will happen with Lashley.

Because hitting a big move on a large man because you are strong means the large man is a chump? How would that kill Show's momentum? "Lashley just Dominatored the Big Show! Wow Show really is a giant bag of crap after all!" "Shut up Cole that was a closeline." "Oops. Read ahead of the notes. Hope that doesn't spoil it for anyone!"
