Now I'm starting to believe in my first thought, the vignettes start early in the show only for the Undertaker to come out as a red herring only for late in the show the vignettes start again and the countdown then out comes Chris Jericho to greater fanfare than if there wasn't a red herring early in the show

The thing about Taker's return last year was that it was only one month before Wrestlemania.
I'm guessing WWE wouldn't have anything for Undertaker to do at Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber.

He can randomly sacrifice jobbers for a couple of months. Also, breakdance. "Takin' 2: Electric Boogaloo."

Well, I'd agree with the no longer entertaining thing. Though that's mostly because Jericho doesn't seem to know how to do a gimmick for more than three or four months before making you sick to death of it. Dude, according to YOU. I don't think he has this "problem" with "doing a gimmick for more than three or four months before making you sick to death of it." You don't equal everyone. I get it - you hate him, think he's boring, have somehow decided he's unintelligent, but your negative assessment is just that - YOUR negative assessment. It's not factual, so stop speaking like it is. You get bored. YOU. if you go to far into symbolism and metaphor it all becomes meaningless. You could stretch it any way. This is too far? I think it's normal symbolism. God, I can't wait for this to be over so we can get to complaining about whatever it is he's daring to do that's offending us this time before exhausting ourselves and moving on to the next irritant.[/quote] standing a girl in for a boy and definatively stating gender would be to far. Jericho never does anything that offends me. I've jsut never been impressed with him

I'm pretty excited to see who it is. I am hoping they open the show with it since I haven't watched a full episode in like over a year.

Why show your hand in the first segment and risk people being let down and tuning out for the rest of the night?

Jericho will come back tonight, and Undertaker in about a month. Perhaps at Elimination Chamber.

Mentioned this in the Raw thread, but I hope it isn't Jericho only because it wouldn't be a surprise. I'd rather see Ambrose/Rollins or Shane returning to take the company back from his sister/brother in law.

Tonight, the story of Raw won't be #ItBegins. No, no, no. The story will be the beginning of the #Heel era. An era we will all like with a champion we can all be proud of.

Second verse, same as the first.

I can't wait for this to unfold. God I loved that. The storyline from the videos is still exactly what I think it's going to be.

I'm pretty sure Jericho's gimmick is being a physical version of his own Twitter account. I can't come up with anything else.

Jericho is one of my favourites, but if that was it then it's a motherf***ing giant letdown. *runs around the ring* *high fives everyone* *GIANT FAKE SMILE* *runs around the ring* *high fives everyone* *GIANT FAKE SMILE* *runs around the ring* *high fives everyone* *GIANT FAKE SMILE* *runs around the ring* *high fives everyone* *GIANT FAKE SMILE* *runs around the ring* *high fives everyone* *GIANT FAKE SMILE* ad inifinitum
