Music: Talentless party electropop like 3oh3 (I don't know how these asshats are spelled and I don't give a f***), the bungholes who produced "sexy and I know it", those Asian rapper buttmonkeys, Katy Perry and Ke$ha will NOT be remembered as good music and most people will agree that "Oh yes, what were they thinking listening to utter crap like that?". LMFAO will probably be in the same position as that "Barbie Girl" song, arguably a step up thankfully IMO.

I'd love to get political here, but rules are rules.
Anyways, something to add rather than repeat: Tebowing.

Not so much ridicule because it's an awesome show, but I was rewatching an episode from S1 of The Wire and just found it really funny seeing the computers and cellphones they were using.
And beepers being featured prominently.

Justin Beiber and most of today's music stars
Much of what we see on television, from worsening soap opera storylines, to bad wrestling storylines, to even worse reality shows.

those of you saying MLP don't realize that MLP has been ridiculed since the 1980's. as for dubstep, a lot of it is really awful, but a few dubstep producers are really good. You have to look hard. I can't really think of anything myself For different reasons though. Back then, because it was a show for girls, so most likely by little kids. Now a days, it's more a few select members of the brony community that are zealot like & make the rest look bad. Luckily, none are on this board as far as I know.

Hipsters. The thick-rimmed glasses, being ironic about everything, the unhealthy obsession with the pisswater that is Pabst Blue Ribbon. Best you take that back, padre... We used to stack posters like you 15 high in Korea, use you for sandbags.

-Autotune will be looked on in the future the same way we look at overuse of synthesizers -glam rap will be ridiculed the same way hair metal is -someday some online reviewer is going to make a guy named New 10s Kid. he'll be an over-the-top parody of hipsters along the linees of Linkara's 90s Kid

Dubstep, MLP, internet memes oh there will always be internet memes. memes existed before there was an internet, the 'net just made them proliferate more quickly and easily.

Am I the only person who thinks that much of what passes for award shows will be ridiculed?

Physical media. People born in, say, 2006 and later will never understand why people had all these discs lying around, and a lot of them aren't even HD.

Quite a few of them, honestly, just... really creep me out.

Internet reviewers like Spoony, if they're even worth remembering that is There were internet reviewers in the 90s as well, the most prominent one being seanbaby (though he only did text reviews). I wonder which cartoons will be praised by the animation fans of the future. I can see shows like Phineas and Ferb and Adventure Time remembered as fondly as 90s kids remember animaniacs and rockos modern life.

I think people will always buy tangible media. People like having a tangible thing in their hands. I can see in 20 years that becoming retro like people today who still buy vinyl records.

Don't you think that most kids today, especially like typical kids not college hipster kids, think the vinyl scene is either kind of weird or are unaware of it? And think of records as some stone age thing?
