How's about this...the end of Raw played up that the valiant champion Batista will indeed be at Survivior Series. As the man's legit injured, run an angle on Thursday that puts him out of SS. All through the PPV run vignettes having the Raw team gloating about an easy 5 on 4 victory and the Smackdown team worried about the insurmountable odds. Have everyone come out for the start of the match and as the ref signals for the opening bell...BONNGGGG.
I haven't seen any Smackdown spoliers, or even know if it's been taped yet, so I don't know if my theory is already negated. I thought of it during the "Beginning of the End" promo on Raw. Taker debuted as a mystery team member at Survivor Series, why not have his farewell tour begin the same way? Furthermore, I think he's the only guy that could immediately swing Smackdown from the underdog to the favorite in the eyes of the casual fan. Thoughts?

No. I just don't like it. The 5th man should be Benoit, Hardy, or Kennedy. The match is gonna be slow as hell as it is. The only two that can actully move around the ring are HBK and Mysterio. If anyone replaces Batista it should be someone that isn't a hoss.

Undertaker gets eliminated by count out when he chases after one of the Ortons. So predictable...
I like the idea, though.

What would be even better is if SS comes and it's 4 on 5...just when SD is about to lose and the ref is knocked out...the bell tolls...Taker comes out and helps SD win.

Taker on a team with Orton wouldn't be good for continuity.

Plus its pretty obvious if they werent going to have Batista be at SS, then it made no sense for him to do the run in thing tonight on Raw. Looks like as much as I want my dose of Kennedy at SS, Batista looks like hes not going anywhere.

Taker on a team with Orton wouldn't be good for continuity. That's why you have them interact accordingly. Randy could run off during the match, for instance.

randy and taker fighting could actually cost the Smackdown team a few pinfalls/ countouts/ whatnots
for their punishment, Long orders them to settle their differences in a Hell in a Cell match at Armageddon (A Smackdown HIAC is another way for Long to get under the Bisch's skin)

Why's that?

Sorry.
Somehow in my head I confused HIAC with that awful Elimination Chamber.
Good god, what a mixup
I love the HIAC and I hate the Elimination Chamber (it really is pretty much, ya know what I'll just start a new post on it)
My bad, sorry

Elimination Chamber would make a lot of sense... but who'd be in it? Kennedy? Hardy?
That would leave little else for the rest of the card.

Taker and Orton simply sqaubling all match? It wouldn't be realistic. Orton's character tried to KILL the Undertaker. If someone tried to murder another person, the person who almost got killed wouldn't just sqauble with the attempted murderer, so it it wouldn't make sense.

So Undertaker should kill Orton right back, right?

Thats clearly not what I was saying. It's just if someone attempted to kill you, you wouldn't work on a team with them and just have a few arguments. There'd be a fight, probably more.

I never said that they were going to have a few arguments. Besides... Whoever here hasn't attempted to murder Undertaker at one point during their career, raise your hand... That's what I thought.

Austin tried to murder Taker? Maybe buried alive at Rock Bottom 98?
And I know Serj, I was talking about some posters above you.

I know we were having a nice conversation about everyone killing Undertaker, but you lost me there.
