Chavo is saying there was NOTHING before hand that Eddie did that was out of the ordinary. Chavo is telling that Eddie told him it was his 4 year anniversary of being clean this past weekend. The man definately went out clean ladies and gentlemen. That's good. Drug addiction is a B****. I don't know that from personal experience, but many of my family have gone though it, and it's really easy to fall back into. Great to hear he stayed strong till the end and didn't go back into his hole.

As I read the news I just sat there, completely shell-shocked. I mean I just looked at the page on wwe going 'What? How could something like this happen?' He was truly a great entertainer, wrestler, just a cool person. I'm still trying to let it sink in. It's just so sad and sudden. I just watched him Friday Night! For those who knew you know they loved you for those who didn't know they miss you. RIP EDDIE GUERRERO!! YOU'LL BE FOREVER MISSED.

from cm punks live journal www.livejournal.com/users/cmpunk/18914.htmlKids and Heros I ain't nobody. I'm just some Punk rock kid with a big mouth and an opinion. I'm just some kid... Eddie Guerrero was a hero of mine. I was fortunate enough to work with him many times, and he helped me more then I could ever put into words. Eddie was my friend. He still is. Maybe i'll be back on here to tell some stories when I clear my head, right now is just too hard. I remember Eddie Guerrero. Cheat to win. XpunkX

both shows cancelled, going to be eddie matches and various special matches live Really? that's a little un-WWE like, they're always "The SHow must go on." Not that I don't like that they did it, it's the right thing to do. That's exactly what they did the night after Owen died.

Man, with all these thread locks, it's hard for a man like myself to say his condolences to one of the best wrestlers ever. My condolences goes out to his wife, his daughters, and his best friends for over ten years, Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko. I'm glad he got the chance to hold the WWE title before he died.
RIP Latino Heat, you will never be forgotten.

The end of wrestlemania XX, with him and Benoit celebrating together in the ring, was the first time I cried tears of joy at a wrestling event. I rewatched, and I cried for a different reason, but it was a good reminder of why I love wrestling.
A few more of my favorite Eddie moments: In Lincoln Nebraska, I went to see my first live wrestling show. He fought Jericho in the match of the night. I was in the front row, and I could see how much they loved doing what they were doing. The best match I ever saw live. They were both heel, but eddie got a massive pop, and Jericho got pelted with so much crap. It was hilarious.
Also, at a Smackdown house show in Ames Iowa, He drove the Crapiest low rider of all time. That made the show for me, because it was really a peice. Another funny moment for me.
You've got to remember the good times!

I thought he meant that the show was not going to happen. The press conference is really choppy on my computer, and I'm just getting bits and peices of it at a time. I just heard that they made it a tribute show.

I'm shocked. Eddie was one of the best wrestlers in the world, and obviously will be missed by many.

I didn't always appreciate Eddie like I should have. But when I realised the gifted performer he was, I respected him and his many contriutions to the sport that both he and I love. He as a performer, me as a spectator.
Eddie Guerrero did it all in wrestling. He went everywhere, he help revolutionize the business more than once. He sweat, bled and, now, ultimately, died for the wrestling business.
In modern times, Eddie Guerrero wresled everybody, in every promotion and in every style. You'd be hardpressed to find anyone else who has been as versatile and as consistant as Eddie Guerrero. From Rey Mysterio to Chris Benoit to Brock Lesnar to The Maximos to Rob Van Dam to The Big Show to Kurt Angle to Bradshaw, Eddie could work them all and look good while doing it.
He will be missed and my heart and sympathy goes out to his friends and family. Eddie Guerrero will live on in my heart and in my fond memories. Rest In Peace.

OMG, I just saw him at Staples live,. I saw my hero wrestle live.
I wish I could have seen HBK/Latino Heat at SurSer..but damn...just damn..
i'm sad.
But i'm happy he had these things going for him before he died:
-Battled and won over his demons -Got his family back together -Won THE WWE title and defended it at wrestlemania -Just had the audience love him.
