Just watched Paul WS Anderson's 'The Three Musketeers' and it ended with a tease for a sequel. It probably won't happen since the first film was a bit of a flop financially and critically. A few films have done this. It's like the film makers believe if they add it, it forces the studios to give them money for the sequel. Sometimes someone gets it right... Because they make sure the first movie is good (Batman Begins), or it's a movie that people will actually want to see (Sherlock Holmes), and the sequel is already in development (Back to the Future II). So what are some films that teased sequels what will we probably never see. I say probably, because well they did eventually make a Tron sequel

Wasn't there a sequel tease in the American version of Godzilla? Vaguely remember a clip in the end of an egg that hadn't been destroyed hatching.

The baby Godzilla that hatched from that egg was the Godzilla in that cartoon series(that wasn't that bad, actually) that came out after the film.

Buckaroo Banzai never did get to fight "The World Crime League." One day I will direct that movie, and if Peter Weller doesn't want to come back I will offer the part to David Tennant or Matt Smith

fantastic 4: rise of the silver surfer's ending meant to lead to a spin off that'll never happen due to fantastic 4 being rebooted.
the vemon suit having a bit chopped off for testing could have been used to bring in carnage (if they hadn't rebooted it.)
the other guy on the bridge filming in cloverfield that the group pass.

Green Lantern's entire problem was that they were more concerned with setting up the sequels than making a good first movie.

X-Men 3 had one, and yet the series went other directions following that movie.

I'm still optimistic there will be an Incredibles 2. It's just going to be a while until we get one.

The kid who did the voice for Dash, chances are his voice doesn't sound like that anymore. That's not stopping them from doing a Finding Nemo 2. He was 9 when they did that. He is now 18. They can recast voices easily enough for the most part.

John Carter The Incredibles I love the John Carter source material so much, that it really saddens me that that will probably be the last of it we see in theaters for a LONG time. Hell, it took pretty much 100 years for it to get there in the first place.
