Damn. I loved the game too but were the crowd drunk at the time or something?

It's been announced to be coming out for awhile, so odd, though I marked the hell out when news about it came out in the first place. Love that game.

I'm not the biggest fan of the adventure series, mainly because I think they're too broken to be all that fun, but that might just be me,

Probably....Sonic Adventure is broken as hell while SA2 still holds up somewhat today (but I only played the gamecube version so I don't know if there a different between that and the Dreamcast version).

I like both of them, 2 more than the 1st. SA1 is too open world, to the point where it can become a "Where the f*** do I go?" game
That being said, after playing the Dreamcast version, the XBox Arcade port of SA1 feels very broken. It seems to have gotten even broken when carried over. Only thing I can really like in it was the re-texturing
One last thing, how come SA2 doesn't have as many fans in the Sonic fandom as SA1? I thought it was much better than the 1st and feels a lot more fun (Knuckles levels being the exception). I think it's up there with Generations and Colors as the best 3D Sonic game yet

It bad when you play the first level of the game and fall through a bridge for no reason >.<. I think the reason why SA1 is more beloved is because it was the first 3D sonic game and probably the first game that everyone got when they bought the dreamcast. So it more of looking trough rose colored glasses effect then anything else.

Well Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 have aged poorly so I'll give this a miss.

It's been what, 12-13 years since the original and they STILL couldn't be bothered to fix some of the glitches? Ugh. And yeah, I don't get the lack of support for SA2. Sure the shooting levels aren't always the greatest, but I agree about it, Generations, and Colors being the best 3D Sonic games.

I loved Sonic Adventure (on Dreamcast) and feel indifferent toward Sonic Adventure 2 (on Gamecube). I loved the overworld, and the removal of that exploration element left Sonic Adventure 2 feeling like half of a game to me, similar to MLB 2K1 where you could only pitch/bat. The story also felt less organic and epic.

Despite SA1 being more loved than SA2 among the fans, I will argue that SA2 has the better main theme.
To me, "Live and Learn" > "Open Your Heart.
Comparison for those that have not heard either song (or just not in a while)
Open Your Heart

I love SA2 much more than SA1. It's just so much more quotable!

Plus, SA2 has one of the best 'level 1' music in all Sonic games

Man people caring about SA2 when Jet Set Radio is coming and Japanese PSN is getting Yakuza 1 & 2 HD in November (hopefully it comes to American PSN).
