I, for one, would love to see a modern day WCW game, which shouldn't be that hard considering WWE owns the library. I have always wondered if they'd do a game centering around the Monday Night Wars, where you could play as either WCW or WWF/E, but I think the Attitude Era mode in '13 is the closest we'll ever get to that.
But really, I think a PS3 WCW game would kick ass - but I don't see it ever happening. What say you, and better yet, would you like to see one?

Only if they could get Sting for it.

wouldn't be much of a point. they can add whoever they want as legends in the current games. Vader, Dusty, Flair, AA, Nash, Hogan have all been in games amongst others like jericho, and mysterio Guys who people really want to play with could easily bee added to the modern games (DDP, Goldberg, Malenko)

Like was said above, I'd wait until they were able to get Sting for it. A WCW game without Sting doesn't seem right.
Hogan they may or may not have a problem with, given Hogan was in WWE All-Stars. Not sure how that whole deal works out.

No, but maybe a re-telling of the Invasion with WCW's biggest stars and WWF's biggest stars.

Same goes for Mattel with WWE toys. That's why you see WWE releasing Sting and Owen Hart footage but no action figures and no video game appearances.

No, but maybe a re-telling of the Invasion with WCW's biggest stars and WWF's biggest stars. It could be the storyline mode of a future game the same way that the Attitude Era is in WWE '13. That'd be pretty fun.

I can't see it selling tbh, so I don't think it could happen.

They actually do so, allowing a downloadable WCW game.
Unfortunately its just a re-release of WCW Backstage Assault.

No, but maybe a re-telling of the Invasion with WCW's biggest stars and WWF's biggest stars. I think I'd prefer it be a sequel to All-Stars, 1997-2002. Call it "Monday Night All-Stars" and have, say, 25 WWF(E) guys, and 25 WCW guys.

I could see a Monday Night War themed game, possibly like WWE 13 where if joins the current stars with stars during the Monday Night Wars. It would be helpful to WWE if Hogan and Sting weren't in TNA though. They could still have Goldberg, DDP, Booker, Flair, Anderson, The Giant. Nash, Hall, and Luger. If they go for a WCW game that goes beyond these years then Ron Simmons and Vader could also be in it.

In a few years, when the games get so customizable that you can design your own promotion, then we can finally have WCW back in virtual form. Until then, it's just me wasting my life playing EWR and sticking it to Vince McMahon every night.

The Nash/WCW angle in story mode for WWE 12 is about as close as it gets. I could see them having a ton of WCW Legends on a future "WWE '(insert year)" release.

What precisely would be a modern day WCW game... the company is out of business... what would you do! Yes, I know what you meant. But no it won't happen. For one, like Reddevil stated I don't really see a full WCW game selling all that well... and two as stated they already put people in the Games that could qualify as WCW people.

No. WCW has been dead for over a decade. The name doesn't mean much anymore. Most WCW fans have quit watching wrestling a long time ago.
And the current generation of fans mostly weren't even born or were babies when WCW went out of business, so the brand really means nothing to them.
And with THQ in the dire financial straits they're currently in, I don't see them taking a chance on such a dated product.

Probably the closest we're gonna get unless THQ can pull WWE '14 out of their asses.
