I could see the next WWE game tackling the invasion story...if they can somehow get the rights to Kurt Angle.

^ Kurt Tweeted that he was pissed for not being asked to be in WWE '13. But I don't know the legalities of TNA's deal allowing him to be in a WWE-made game.

Man, given how they portray WCW like they did the Monday Night Wars DVD, even after releasing the WCW collections like they have, I can't see them doing it without making it a gigantic middle finger to anyone that watched it back then.
I can, in all seriousness, see it being more about the things that lead to the downfall of the company, rather than what made it so good.

TNA probably would have allowed it, in exchange for Christian showing up in the impact zone to say "Hey guys, I'm Christian. Remember me? How's it going? Yeah, we'll, I'm gonna go grab a sandwich and then go watch some movies with Val Venis. Hope you're all doing good."

The only way you'd ever see a new WCW game is if the WWE decided to release some sort of Monday Night Wars compilation game that had a theme of being two completely separate games that interacted with each other. Like a game that came on two discs, WWF and WCW discs that each had their own title screens, campaigns, etc. A little bit high brow game design for WWE.

"The Rise and Fall of WCW: The Game".
Honestly, it's more likely they would make an ECW game than WCW. Vince will never, ever accept WCW as a successful brand because they were a direct competition to him, making him number 2. I can't say I blame him, but it's a shame, because I feel of the millions he's made off of WCW, he could make even more. There are still a lot of WCW fans out there.

Eh, just download a bunch of WCW arenas, logos and CAWs in WWE 13. Same thing, more or less.

So instead of Luger and Sting the Game will be full of Ice Train and Bootyman?
