How has no one said Iron Man matches? They're terrible.

Tuxedo matches. Why would I want to watch two men strip eachother's clothes off, especially when it's usually two people NO ONE wants to see naked.

Agreed on Cage Matches with the door. I barely even like it when they escape over the top but the door being there is just ridiculous. Also agreed on Hell in a Cell when it's just another match because it's the October PPV. It should have a reason behind it, not just it's October again. Also would like to add Elevation X, Buried Alive. Also not a fan of Ironman matches. You get the odd good one but they are mainly very average matches with little to no suspense. Cage matches. They've been a snooze fest for years and years now. Not because of anything related to going out the door, but because it seems to lead people to doing the same extremely boring spots. Throwing someone into the fence is like the cage version of a resthold. We have to see this unimpressive offensive move, followed by the person laying there selling it for an hour while the attacker paces around. In fact wrestlers in general seem to move in slow motion in cage matches. Last great cage match was Angle vs Benoit on Raw I'd argue that Orton vs. Christian from SmackDown last year was awesome too.

If they need to have a ref standing next to the cage door and opening it as soon as anyone looks in its general direction, I don't understand why they don't save some time and energy by simply lifting it off its hinges before the match starts.

Hell in a Cell matches are just pointless now and I can't remember the last one I enjoyed. There was Taker/HHH but the Cell wasn't even really needed (infact I forget there was even one there).

Any sort of match where you have to put a guy somewhere, or make him cross a line to win. For example an Ambulance match, or a Stretcher match. What's the point? It proves nothing.

Do you mean Triple H vs Undertaker? The match was my favorite match this year but I have to agree the cell was not needed. The worst gimmick match I can think of is the boxing matches WWE does sometimes. Piper Vs Mr T was the worst "wrestling match" I ever seen.

I share the same sentiment with the HIAC matches. The best ones were UT/HBK at Ground Zero '97 and, obviously, UT/Foley at KOTR '98. Same goes for ALL cage matches.
No HIAC match has come even close to those two (except maybe Kennel in a Hell, or whatever).
Hopefully, we'll never see another Poonjobby Prison match again, too.

Here's another one that doesn't make sense to me. Early 1994 ECW called it a "BaseBrawl", which was just a "bat on a pole match". You had to pin your opponent before you could even have the chance to retrieve the bat and use it on your opponent at free will. Now, call me crazy, but even if my opponent pins me and gets the bat, what's stopping me from using it?!!It's not like we're still in the kayfabe days where I could receive a stiff and heavy fine or suspension for my actions.
"Falls Count Anywhere" matches are also just lazy booking. It's for TV audiences. If you're at a show and there's a "Falls Count Anywhere" match, I'd feel ripped off.

I'd say strap matches simply because so many of them seem to have confused refs and/or wrestlers in them that can't follow the rules, can't remember the rules, or seem to make them up as they go.
Do I pin the guy, then touch the four corners in order without getting hit? No wait, don't pin the guy, just beat him up and drag him around the ring touching corners whenever I feel like it? No, put the guy in a submission, make him tap, then touch two corners, then pin him, then touch the other two, then submit him again? Uhhhh, how do I win again??? And the ref is standing there shrugging his shoulders as well.

For me, I'm generally not a fan of:
Post Dudley table matches. Table matches were more their thing. It would be like Orton vs. Slater in a casket match.
On a pole match. Whereas a ladder match has so many different high points other than climbing the ladder to get the object, these mainly have them trying to get the object.
Blindfold match. Mainly because regardless if they can really see or not, they walk too much on eggshells to be exciting.
Chairs match. The very name feels forced.
The Hell in a Cell & Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-Views. Before, it felt special to see these cages, now it's just that time of year.

And the ref is standing there shrugging his shoulders as well. They usually have the same ending every time. Touch one corner, the opponent does it without the first guy seeing him. Repeat until the last one. Opponent pulls guy away from touching last corner, then he touches it for the win. Pretty anti-climatic, if you ask me. Fans only cheer that it's over, not because they liked who won.
