JR has Bell's Palsy, if that's what you are referring to. Yeah, if WWE was being consistent, Vince has a lot to apologize for. I guess they just use artistic license to qualify what he says and does on air.

He wouldn't been in this position if he was making fun of either fat people, midgets, or people with cerebral palsy. What about fat midgets with cerebral palsy?

Sounds like a pretty dumb guy to say the least, I bet he doesn't even know how to use the "block" function on twitter

He wouldn't been in this position if he was making fun of either fat people, midgets, or people with cerebral palsy. What's said by characters in a scripted show, and what's said by an actual person are two different things. Just like how something an actor does in a movie wouldn't necessarily be acceptable for a real person to do in real life.

PC WORLD ORDER! FOR LYFE! Rob Van Dang, CM Upstanding Young Man and Jeff "Balloon Animals" Hardy are going to take over. And I'm not saying he's right, but I just hate that everything is a damn federal case anymore. Some guy said faggot on the internet. Oh f***ing no. PC World Order? That's awful enough to win yourself a "Clarky". People can't be homophobic without consequences, and you consider that a bad thing? He's not being arrested or thrown in prison, but his idiotic choices have made it harder for him to get a job with companies who don't want the PR nightmare of hiring a public, unrepentant homophobe. And that's entirely his fault.

Live by the sword, die by the sword. I never know why people forget this. People believe the phrase ignorance is bliss is a positive justification for doing nothing about their abhorrent and illogical hatred of those they don't dare put in the effort to understand/empathise with.

Live by the sword, die by the sword. I never know why people forget this. Being accountable for your comments/actions is something that I feel has become lost in the days of the internet.

Eh. As long as he's entertaining I don't care what he says on the twitter. And I'm not saying he's right, but I just hate that everything is a damn federal case anymore. Some guy said faggot on the internet. Oh f***ing no. I couldn't agree more with these two. I don't care what his personal outlook is. Let him be the biggest nazi-muffin in the country, so long as he wrestles well and puts on a good show. That's all I ask from a wrestler.

How is it ok to excuse people just because, as another poster put it, they can 'do a good arm drag?' I simply can't understand that train of thought.

If he's being denied a job because he doesn't like the way a certain group of people act, that's somewhat discriminating too. People hate things. That's life. Let him have his opinion and let it go. I'm sure people hate him now and they won't lose work for it.

He wouldn't been in this position if he was making fun of either fat people, midgets, or people with cerebral palsy. Oh, the irony of choosing to use the word "midgets." And if he were to go after those last two, yes, he would be in the exact same position. What's said by characters in a scripted show, and what's said by an actual person are two different things. Just like how something an actor does in a movie wouldn't necessarily be acceptable for a real person to do in real life. This is true and something to keep in mind when judging "Hypocrisy." Free speech and personal views go both ways. People can think what they want. If he's being denied a job because he doesn't like the way a certain group of people act, that's somewhat discriminating too. People hate things. That's life. Let him have his opinion and let it go. I'm sure people hate him now and they won't lose work for it. But this isn't just "people with tattoos are stupid" or "people who wear big pink frilly hats are dumb." It's a slur against an entire group of people for something they're born as and have no control over. It's no different than a racial or ethnic slur. I don't think anyone is in the wrong for not wanting to hire a racist, or if not a racist, someone who says things that could be interpreted as racist because they used a racial slur. People who act that way are welcomed less and less into the civilized workplace. I consider that social progress.

I don't believe you can condition an entire population into having the exact same set of 'socially acceptable' views without 'enforcing' it at the point of a sword, so I'm not really willing to stick my nose up in the air at "Harold" too much.
He will, however, have to deal with always being referred to as "Harold".

Looks like the WWE dodged a bullet by not hiring this guy.

I couldn't agree more with these two. I don't care what his personal outlook is. Let him be the biggest nazi-muffin in the country, so long as he wrestles well and puts on a good show. That's all I ask from a wrestler. No. Being good at something doesn't excuse you from not being criticised when you act like a dick, be it on the net or to people's faces. How is it ok to excuse people just because, as another poster put it, they can 'do a good arm drag?' I simply can't understand that train of thought. To me it's not a matter of his quality of work, more a matter of what he says off hours shouldn't make him more or less employable. The way people behave when someone offends somebody, where you have people wanting to take food off a guy's table because he said something that offends them just rubs me the wrong way. I like Scorpio Sky and think he's a great wrestler, but there are guys I don't care about at all that have been treated the same way, and I don't see it any different. Especially here you can tell Scorpio's more of an idiot than he is a homophobe. It just really irks me when people, instead of writing him off as a dick, or an idiot, and moving on from the guy, fixate on the person and make sure he's unemployable unless he kowtows to your whimsy. EDIT: Looks like the WWE dodged a bullet by not hiring this guy. If he was under WWE's employ, he would absolutely have apologized to everyone and they'd sweep it under the rug like they did with Michael Cole. This is just a convenient story for WWE to pretend they're above it even though they clearly got what they needed with the Harold character and likely didn't have any real plans for him beyond that. I wouldn't even write Scorpio's WWE chances off with this as the world is quick to forget this s***.
