Um, wow - I didn't think I'd like it as much as I did, REALLY good movie. The best out of Nolan's three, for me, although Begins and TDK are no slouches in themselves. Putting the rest in spoilers just in case {Spoiler}I really liked how the movie opened and showed a beaten and battered Bruce Wayne, it really humanized Wayne and Batman as a whole, in my opinion. I really liked how the movie showed that even Bruce Wayne is capable of falling to rock bottom, and he and he himself has to pull himself up and climb to the top again - figuratively and literally. Really liked Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, and the Bane character was just incredible. A ruthless, unforgiving monster - with some humanization thrown in late to boot. I wasn't too crazy about the mask when it was first announced, simply because it was so different than the comic book version - but, just like with The Joker, I really like what was done with the character. I can't really think of anything I didn't like about the movie, except I thought Bruce trusted Selina just a little too much to begin with - what with her leading him to slaughter.
Oh, and I wasn't a big Joseph Gordon-Levitt fan going in, but my God I now see the appeal in the guy. Great actor, played his part perfectly. And one more question for the panel {Spoiler}I doubt it would ever happen, but it's fun to talk about - could you guys ever see Nolan doing a Robin exclusive movie with Levitt? Overall, fantastic film. What did you all think of it, and how would you rank it within the trilogy?

Nolan is DONE with Batman, and that includes all spin offs. I'd prefer it that way, since there's only so much you can do with the Gotham universe in it's current form. If someone wanted to do a Nightwing movie, I'd be okay with it. But I'd change the Nolan format and casting decisions, just out of convenience and for it to sit as a stand alone if it turns into one than more movie. The tone itself can stay the same.

I thought it was a great movie but not as good as the first two. Bane was excellent and his scenes were my favorite parts of the movie. Loved the music too.

After rewatching it last week, a lot of the open questions I had were answered. I watched with subtitles on and there's lines of dialogue that go by that really setup things later on in the film. I love Bane's voice. The decision to have it engulf the soundmix was brilliant. And the theme of the trilogy was very clear when I watched them in a row.

Loved it, still not as good as The Dark Knight, but great nonetheless. I need to watch it again to really give it a fair shot, but honestly: {Spoiler}I kinda hate the Talia Al Ghul stuff shoehorned in right at the end. I wish it had just been Bane acting on his own.

I have not seen Premium Rush, so I like to pretend it's a Dark Knight Rises spin-off/sequel in which John Blake is working as a bike messenger after quitting the Gotham City Police Department during the day to pay his bills (afterall, he doesn't have a trust fund and the resources of Wayne Enterprises at his disposal) and ends up getting caught up in the events of Premium Rush before he can get to The Batcave to get his Batman/Robin/Nightwing gear.

I put it in the middle of the trilogy. Liked it more than Begins, but not as much as Dark Knight. Wasn't a big fan of the villains and thought their plan was pretty dumb, but overall it was a good movie.

One part that was hard for me to watch, but it's a compliment to the crew if nothing else... {Spoiler}At the end when they're showing Bruce's tombstone, I honestly felt bad when I saw Michael Caine crying. I get that we're just talking about actors and characters, but Nolan's trilogy made these characters so real that you just can't help but feel bad for a man who, despite his best efforts, has ultimately failed in his job to keep Bruce safe.
Well, you know what I mean - but before you see the cafe scene, I legit felt bad for Alfred.

It was FAR better than Batman Begins, but was absolutely nothing compared to Avengers or The Dark Knight. I loved a lot of the things Batman says in the movie, and a few of things he does, but overall I wasn't blown away like so many other people claim to be. It was a good movie, even a really good movie, but not at all a must see classic that has changed the way super hero movies should be done forever.

Meh movie, Easily the weakest Comic movie of 2012
It's also not even the better batman flick of 2012 as "Dark Knight returns Part 1" came out too and I thought it was better than DKR (And "Returns" isn't even finished yet)

I went in expecting it to suck, but I ended up liking it more than BB or DK. It's my favorite of the Nolan trilogy by far.

A well made movie. I personally think it would have worked better if it was a completely new superhero rather than Batman. I prefer the take Batman:tas took. Which is that Bruce Wayne is teh facade for the bat, no matter how hard he tries to deny it.
I did like how they fixed the god moding that happen in tdk(Bane was actually surprised that Batman escaped), and the events didn´t seem complex just for the sake ofbeing complex.

Decent film, but not what I wanted from a comic book film. Too serious, and yet at the same time, the least serious of the three, which bled through and made some plot points silly in the context of the world Nolan created himself.
Didn't like the JGL reveal moment.
Didn't like how un-Catwomany Anne Hathaway was.
Did like Bane.
Did like Scarecrow showing up again.
Glad Nolan is done with Batman, appreciate his films almost as an 'Elseworlds' style take on what I consider Batman and would personally rank this film in the middle. It wasn't as frustrating as Dark Knight, but wasn't as satisfying as Begins.
