from Wrestlingobserver:
To air this week:
-Bobby Roode opened the show coming to the ring. He talks about how he paid off the Aces and 8s and that they didn't fulfill their deal. The gang comes out and reveals that they were offered a better deal by someone else. Later tonight, he might get an answer. James Storm and Jeff Hardy come out ready for a fight. They clear out everyone from the ring.
-Velvet Sky defeated Madison Rayne with her finisher.
-Wes Brisco and Garett Bischoff defeated the Two Robbies. Kurt Angle accompanied his boys ringside but was attacked by the Aces and 8s after the match.
-James Storm and Jeff Hardy defeated DOC and the masked one (Mike Knox). After the match, Devon revealed that the one who paid them off was Austin Aries.
-AJ Styles came to the ring and cut a depressing promo about this being his worst year. He gets angry and informs us that he would start looking out for him over the interests of TNA. Sounded like a turn to the dark side.
-Bully Ray defeated Jessie with the Bully Cutter.
-Kenny King defeated Rob Van Dam in a non-title match after using the ropes to get the pin.
-Aries comes to the ring for a promo. He admits to hiring the Aces and 8s saying that he was overlooked in favor of Hardy. He didn't get paid when he fought the gang. Jeff Hardy comes out and challenges Aries to a match next week on Championship Thursday. Aries refused saying he doesn't fight for free. Aries and Hardy get into a scuffle where Hardy nearly hits his finisher.
December 20th IMPACT Wrestling Episode (Partial)
-Kurt Angle opened the show by calling out Devon for Championship Thursday. The TV Title is on the line. After a bunch of different wrestlers were ejected during the match, Devon got the pin when one of the gang members laid out Angle with a pipe.
-Tara retained her Knockouts Title over Mickie James.
-A bunch of Christmas decorations are in the ring and we are now joined by Bad Influence. They bring out Santa Clause and give him pants. Daniels trash talks AJ Styles but is interrupted by James Storm. He got in the ring and knocked down the christmas tree. Storm questioned the identity of Santa. Santa failed to guess what Storm got last year so Storm laid him out with the Last Call. He then throws Santa's presents into the audience.
-Joey Ryan and Matt Morgan defeated Rob Van Dam and Kenny King. King could have saved RVD following a Carbon Footprint but chose not to.

I was hoping the Styles angle was leading to time off for AJ, but instead it's going to lead towards a heel turn. Augh.

Not just any pants...ZUBAZ PANTS! Same spoliers from a different report: {Spoiler}For 12/13:
* Bobby Roode opens Impact Wrestling with an in-ring segment. He talks about what happened at Final Resolution with Aces & 8s. Devon, DOC, the leader, and two others interrupt. Devon mentions someone came and gave them a better deal. Roode demands to know who it was. Devon says when a deal is made, they like to keep it within the club. Devon says he will reveal later who paid them off. Jeff Hardy and James Storm interrupt. They rush the ring and Aces & 8′s bail to ringside.
* Velvet Sky defeated Madison Rayne via the In Yo Face.
* Wes Brisco and Garett Bischoff w/Kurt Angle defeated Robbie E and Robbie T.
* Jeff Hardy & James Storm defeated DOC and one other member (Mike Knox). After the match they revealed that Austin Aries paid Aces & 8s off.
* AJ Styles comes out and cuts a promo. AJ mentions he's tired of being the corporate janitor and cleaning up every TNA mess.
* Kenny King defeated Rob Van Dam in a non-title match.
* Bully Ray defeated Jesse w/Tara with the Bully Cutter.
* Austin Aries comes out and talks about paying off Aces & 8s. Aries mentions that Hogan jumped on the Jeff Hardy bandwagon and thats why he is pushing Hogan's buttons and won't stop until he gets his World title back. Hardy interrupts. Hardy says next week is championship Thursday and says Aries/Hardy III. Aries says he does it when he wants on his own time. The two argue more and then start to brawl. Hardy gets the upperhand and sets up Aries for the Swanton, but Aries bails and makes his way up the ramp. Show ends.
For 12/20 (partial):
* Impact Wrestling kicks off with Kurt Angle calling out Devon. Devon comes out and says says he had to bring his pack with them and Angle said he brought a pack of his own. Samoa Joe, Wes Brisco, Garett Bischoff made their way to ringside.
* Devon defeated Kurt Angle in a TV Title match.
* Tara w/Jessie Goddarz defeated Mickie James.
* Kazarian comes out with presents. He then introduces Christopher Daniels. Daniels sits in the chair and Kazarian tells him he has a special guest: Santa Claus! He sits in the chair. Daniels and Kazarian says they for him a gift. Santa opens it and reveals zuma pants! James Storm interrupts and says they are making a mockery of Christmas. Daniels says James Storm should be on the naughty list since he is the reason AJ can’t go for the world title for a year. James Storm gets into the ring and knocks over the tree. Storm ends up super kicking Santa. Afterwards, Storm takes presents from Santa's bag and hands them out to fans.
* Matt Morgan & Joey Ryan defeated Kenny King & Rob Van Dam. That concludes half of the tapings for this episode.

It's commendable how TNA keeps acting like the TV title matters.

I like the sound of that AJ promo. Might be a heel turn, but nothing has to be set in stone.
And Solomon Grundy want zubaz pants, too.

Said it regarding AJ in the "Bring Back Fortune" thread and I'll stick to it: See, I want AJ with them. I want him to lose it all and feel he needs to hang around with winners like Roode, Daniels and Kaz. Eventually you put the title on Daniels and have AJ sneak up to win the BFGS. Daniels, Kaz and Roode think/demand AJ do the right thing and lay down for Daniels because he got lucky and there is no way he could be Daniels for the title but he refuses and you go from there.

so Kenny King is now being built again to be RVD's first real feud as X Champ. Once again, how they're treating King furthers my belief that Zema only got the X Title to lose to Sorrenson at BFG.

Another heel Xie? Come on, TNA. Stop building that division around RVD. He's the past. Build the future! There needs to be a legit face in the Division and you just won't give it one.

Not crazy about Mickie losing to Tara again on TV. Looks like they're going with Velvet again, someone who bailed on them.

Nice to see Devon get the TV title back. He never lost it in the first place...of course no one was looking for it either.

That December 27th episode sounds absolutely horrid. Roode/Aries cheat-off sounds like the only thing worth watching.

Also if TNA is high on Christian York (and it seems they are), they might want to consider having him actually win a match.

Man, Aces and Eights sure does job a lot. TNA seems to protect Devon and Doc, but let all the masked guys job, which I guess is a good strategy since the masked guys are interchangeable and unimportant, but it doesn't make A&8 seem like much of a threat.
I thought Daniels was going to get the next title shot, but looks like Hardy/Aries/Roode, which should be a good match.

No Gutcheck? Maybe TNA finally caught on that it doesn't work properly on a taped format.
