Not really sure if this should be a new thread but it's kinda big news so here it is.
Guess the Dibiase Posse won't be around for much longer if this is true.

Not surprising if true, WWE seem to have fallen out of love with him.
Acting is an awful direction to go in though, seeing as you generally have to be able to act.

I feel bad for the guy. A prime example of what happens to a promising young talent when creative just can't figure out what to do with him.

Let him go to Hollywood and comeback in 7-8 years for the build to a WrestleMania...

This is one of the cases where the talent has equal, if not greater blame than creative. Teds charisma level is at zero, his ring skills are medicare at best and his work on the stick is just forgettable. He's the textbook definition of a bland vanilla midget.

All he has going for him is that his father is the Million Dollar Man. Him and McGillicutty should form a tag team. They're almost perfect for each other.

I feel like the WWE did plenty to try and get Dibiase over. I would actually argue they tried harder with him than they do with most mid carders. It just didn't take because he's not very interesting.

And I would ask when was the last time a pure WWE guy(no or very little Indy experience) really got over who wasn't a hoss? Maybe Cody, but he's really the exception. For the guys that don't have natural charisma, it's better to learn it on the indies, instead of just thrust in the WWE's Mean Bean Machine

His fate was likely sealed when they failed to capitalize on his Legacy run by having him turn on Orton instead of just sitting there and taking it.

Vince apparently loved the Dibiase Posse idea but never capitalized on it

His fate was likely sealed when they failed to capitalize on his Legacy run by having him turn on Orton instead of just sitting there and taking it. This always makes me laugh. The fans wanted Cody to turn face on Randy, then wanted Ted to turn face on Randy. So naturally, Randy turned face on the other two. Orton WAS getting a good face reaction and eventually Dashing Cody Rhodes happened though, so I can't laugh too hard about it.

He seemed to be an alright talker but still his character should of been an easy one to write. He should of debuted as an asshole entitled rich kid who drives a convertible mustang, wearing polo T-Shirts and have the prettiest heel diva as his cheerleader girlfriend. But no he was just some goon part of Legacy who constantly job in handicap matches against Cena, HHH, Batista, or Seth Green.

If he's financially set, he'd be making a good decision by leaving. At the moment, there is no future in the WWE for Charismaless Ted. He could go elsewhere and be a bigger name.

I was hoping this would say WWE officials have suggested he grow a mustache.

To your point, he is pretty devoid of charisma, but "mediocre' is the last word I'd use to describe Ted Junior as a worker. In fact, I'd probably call him one of the more underrated workers in the WWE right now. That said, going to Hollywood would probably be a waste of his talents. I'd much rather he went to New Japan, and I think he'd do pretty well there, too.
