At this point, all you can do when you hear about them is just go ::)and leave it at that. Even bringing them up is giving them more importance than they deserve.

I'll say the same thing I did on twitter. "Turn off your TV's people. MSNBC, CNN, FOXnews, etc exist only to make terrible tragedies that much worse."
The more people watch, the more exploitive garbage they'll put out.

@atlanta_Falcons The Falcons will observe a moment of silence before Sunday's game against the Giants. Our thoughts are with those in Connecticut.
@lakersreporter The Lakers and Wizards will observe a moment of silence for the shooting victims in Connecticut prior to the game.

Good God, that is just horrible. And all that for what? Because the guy was insane? What goes through the mind of these lunatics? At what point can "kill children", even if you have mental illnesses, seem like a reasonable thing to do? I just... I mean even mobsters agree that attacking children is one of the worst things a human can do, so why does this happen? Why does it KEEP happening? Won't post it here, but now the Westboro Baptist Church people are chiming in. Oh, of course. There's no tragedy these s***heads won't exploit for attention. There's a reason even the KKK thinks they're bastards.

Frankly, this sums up anything I could possibly say about it. By far the best coverage from any news company on this tragedy.

Okay, I want to ask you guys something. Do you think that this will have more of an effect on everyone than the Aurora shooting did? The horrible thing that happened in July was the talk of the Summer, but man, I can't imagine anybody thinking that what happened today was less heinous.

CNN is now reporting that 2-3 of the guns used were registered to the mother of the killer.

The horrible thing that happened in July was the talk of the Summer, but man, I can't imagine anybody thinking that what happened today was less heinous. I really don't see it changing anything. Between the holidays, the economic situation, govt. changeover, and Sandy recovery among other things, this will become a localized issue and forgotten before long sadly. One of the Aurora victims was from my town, her parents still live here and her memorial service was held here a little over a week later and no one seemed to remember or care outside of those that knew her. I see this sadly being the same way, especially with the killer being dead as well.

God damn it. We can't allow that Traveler. Its time that we figure out a way to quit this. Somehow we need to all come together and figure out how we can end this.
