I wonder if they'll do another commerical-free RAW at any point. I can't see it happening with it being 3 hours now, but the last time they did I remember it being a really good episode. Maybe not truly commercial free, but replace the ads with PPV ads, promos for SmackDown, Main Event, and Saturday Morning Slam, or vignettes for returning or debuting Superstars. Or bring back Sean Mooney for news update segment.

In television the program is just a break in between commercials. That's simply the nature of the business. You don't get commercials in the middle of either half of a football (soccer) game, which is live. Yeah maybe WWE could copy the way football has two lots of commercials crammed into half time. Like have the matches uninterrupted but then have a lot of ads in between promos and backstage things. I realise they put them in the middle of matches to kind of force the viewers to watch them but it's so grating. You never see "proper" TV shows go to commercials in the middle of a scene.

Doesn't the WWE App let you watch the show during the commercials? That seems like a fair compromise.

What I do for most 3 hour Raws is watch the first segment, and then do something else for about an hour (watch something else or whatever). Then I continue watching where I left off skipping all the commercials and recaps and by the end of the show I'm watching the last segment live with everyone else and only wasted 2 hours of my life instead of 3 And let's face it, the first and last segments are usually the only ones worth watching these days anyway, haha.

I hate commercials, which is why I record shows so I can fast-forward them. The same goes for any shows, f*** commercials... I don't pay for Sky to get bomblasted with 5 minutes of commercials for every 10 minutes of television. Record it, zap through them and I do my best to avoid using any shops, services or goods that advertise regularly on television Eh, the bit about stores who advertise on TV and avoiding them is a bit overboard IMO, but maybe it's different in the UK.

If I see that stupid Shark steam cleaning mop commercial one more time, I'm going to Brogue Kick everybody in my neighborhood.

I don't mind a small bit of advertising, the occasional tv advert, an ad in a magazine, a website ad, a billboard etc. It's when companies go overboard with it that I refuse to buy their products. When I watch an hours TV show and the Go Compare man flashes up 4 times during the commercial break. Yeah... f*** that company, I'm not using Go Compare out of spite for cramming their annoying adverts in our faces. Likewise adverts on internet videos. f*** those companies. You advertise on an internet video delaying me from watching something for 30 seconds, I ain't using your company.

I'd rather they do away with all commercials and work the product placement into the show itself, that's usually funny. "And now Sheamus sent into the Nike ringpost, and oh no, now Barretts climbing up the Apple Ipad 2 turnbuckle!"

True, but I think what separates this from last time is that (presumably) you're still in front of your TV with a tablet rather than at a PC where the chances of still seeing some commercials is a bit less likely.

Right around show time, I'll make sure to rewind the USA network an hour. Just before that hour is up, I'll settle in and start watching.

I have more problems with the near-constant barrage of recaps than with the commercial breaks, TBH.

Three hours with no breaks would kill me.
My main complaint about commercials is that they shouldn't interrupt matches. They have to structure the breaks so we're not interrupting the flow, which takes away the emotional investment for me.

They have to structure the breaks so we're not interrupting the flow, which takes away the emotional investment for me. The commercial breaks during matches have become so formulaic and predictable to the point that you just know they're going to head to the break once one wrestler tosses his opponent to the outside.
