Punk could've been the face of the company if they maintained his momentum after pipebomb promo. Thanks Nash and Burials. I don't know about that, with how Punk keeps talking it seems highly likely that he will be retired from a full schedule before Cena does.

I'm sure Bobby Lashley said the same thing.

I can't imagine that long-term. Maybe a short term thing like say Ultimate Warrior; as I really feel that's kinda Ryback's template even more so than Goldberg.

Would love to see him do charity events. "I chant 'Feed Me More' when I walk to the ring but it's these kids that need to be feed more!" Or, for Christmas, "Feeeeeeed theeeeeem moooooooore, let them know it's Christmastime!"

Whether or not he ever reaches this level, he has the right attitude to get there. Too many young guys, in any industry, are afraid to be ambitious.

I have a hard time picturing him ever surpassing John Cena, but kudos to him for having the right attitude about it. I admire his desire.

I've never been the biggest fan of Ryback but at least he's motivated and cares about WWE. Too many guys just seem to be there for the paycheck.
He's not my cup of tea but I'm slowly warming up to why people like him.

Warrior and Goldberg weren't really fans of the wrestling business, though, similar to Lesnar. From all accounts, Ryback isn't just in this for the paycheck he actually enjoys pro wrestling so that speaks to him possibly being here for the long haul.

If anything, it's smaller-to-average wrestlers who are traditionally considered "good looking" (Morrison, DiBiase) who express desires to use wrestling as a stepping stone to hollywood (Muhammad Hassan also attempted this).

I support this idea in the hopes that Hall and Nash re-unite to 'officially' end Ryback's streak and win the WWE Title at next years TLC, then the following night on Raw..well you know the rest.

He won't be the next John Cena but I see him being the next Batista. The new face of SD. This I think the next face of the WWE will be Sheamus with Ryback as the #2 guy. Sheamus is in his mid 30's. He won't be around forever.

His gimmick has a short shelf life. He won't be near Cena's level. Certainly up the card but nowhere near.

A guy wants to be the best at what he does. Shocking. This. No matter what you do, if you give a damn, your goal should be to be the best in it.

Ryback will be A top guy. He won't be THE top guy.
I don't see WWE ever having another "monster face" as the face of the company.

Good!
Like CM Punk always says, if you want to be the best, you gotta believe that you can be the best.
