It can be anybody from the past, or somebody on the current roster.

Test - Pretty good athletic big man worker, decent on the mic when allowed to talk
Albert/A-Train/Tensai - Although Albert didn't achieve a lot of success during the Attitude/Ruthless Aggression Eras, he wasn't exactly a "jobber" either, so there was really no need to repackage him. He was a pretty good worker, even during his 1st WWE run.
Alberto Del Rio - He is very charismatic, he just doesn't have anything interesting to say.
Big Show - Arguably the best big man performer of the modern era, yet is unfairly blamed for Creative dropping the ball on other wrestlers after feuding with him. It's not Big Show's fault that Jack Swagger was taken off of TV after his World Title reign. It's not Big Show's fault that Cody Rhodes is wandering around aimlessly. And it's not Big Show's fault that Creative decided to disband the SES, and move CM Punk over to the RAW brand.
Alex Riley - He was a bit sloppy, but I don't think he was as bad or "dangerous" as he was made out to be by detractors. If he were, he would've been fired a long time ago, and he wouldn't have been allowed near anyone that the company deemed as "valuable" (i.e. The Miz, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Dolph Ziggler). He's also worked hard to improve his in-ring game. Although some people hate the whole "just happy to be here" attitude, Riley is a good example of such. Despite his small role in the company, he accepts it without complaining and puts his heart and energy into it. He's energetic, of decent size, and is quick like a cruiserweight. And he's pretty damn over.
Jinder "the Fun One" Mahal - I never understood where the Jinder hate came from. Watching him in the ring, he has these amazing facial expressions and a viciousness that reminds me of heel Triple H.
Zack Ryder - Maybe he didn't live up to the hype, but he wasn't exactly terrible either. I think his charisma would've more than made up for his lack of talents in certain areas. His ring work may be average, but as long as he isn't a dangerous botch machine, I don't see what the problem is. His only real problem is that nothing about him in the ring really stands out and his moveset is generic, but other than that, he's fine.

I think Swagger is one of the greatest "semi"-big wrestlers ever - a shame what happened to him

Tyson Kidd. If we're only talking about in-ring ability, I'd put him the list of top 5 wrestlers in the WWE today.

Hunico - A great highflyer and technical wrestler. If only the WWE can see it . Tyson Kidd - Again, great wrestler who's trying to find his niche as a character. Sheamus - Sure, his character is boring as s**t but he's a great brawler and I've never been bored while watching his matches.

Big Show. He's always over-shadowed by Andre but I feel that Show is leaps and bounds better then Andre. I've always felt that if they could swap places Show would have been as big if not bigger then Andre in his prime, Andre would be remembered in the same vein as Giant Gonzalez.

Going way back, I think I'm just about the only person who was a fan of Duke 'The Dumpster' Drose. He wasn't a bad wrestler, and although he gets lumped in with the New Generation 2nd job roster, I think he could have transcended it with a couple of tweeks. A couple of changed and he could be a blue collar man of the people with a signature weapon.

Tyson Kidd. If we're only talking about in-ring ability, I'd put him the list of top 5 wrestlers in the WWE today. I agree on Tyson Kidd. I also agree on Jack Swagger. I never saw anything overrated about the guy. Eve is quite good in my opinion. She isn't the most charismatic Diva they ever had, but as a wrestler I think she is quite solid. Ted Dibiase (the current one)- Not the charismatic, but quite good in the ring. Jinder Mahal-finally found a niche. good wrestler.

Tajiri. WWE didn't use him as well as they should have, he could have been huge. He worked great as both face and heel, phenominal in the ring, recognizable style and look, would have made them huge money in Japan for them. The list goes on and on

As a wrestler, Hogan. He gets a lot of hate for not being able to work, when he is the greatest worker of all time given that he got the biggest reactions in history by doing sweet FA in the ring. That's what the business is all about.

This one is only from a sub-section of fans but I hate seeing Undertaker, Kane and Big Show disparaged purely due to their size, wrestling needs big men and they're some of the best best we've seen as far as in-ring ability goes and shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as people like The Great Khali.
Nor should they be expected to put on a technical clinic even if they are capable of it.
