I bet a lot of people have been thinking this. What's the point of having these Diva Searches and Tough Enoughs when the winners end up being released a year or two later? This comes off the back of 2004 Diva Search winner Christy Hemme's release, just as she was showing in-ring improvement.
Why bother?

you pick:
tough enough diva search stephanie mcmahon as GM.
personally, i'd rather sit through a best of though enough\diva search 24 hour video than to hear screechy mcmahon's voice.

tough enough is at least its own show...
what bugs me tho about diva search is how the losers still get jobs...

I'm not bagging Tough Enough or Diva Search, it's just the fact that the E fires these people almost as soon as they get the next winner. Except for Maven and maybe Miss Jackie. what bugs me tho about diva search is how the losers still get jobs... It's pretty much like most 'Idol' singing contests, the runner-up(s) are usually more successful.

Well it comes down to one thing: money
They think they can capitalize on reality television so they put these shows on the air for us to watch. And to be honest...I was lured into watching TE.

In singing, a good voice and natural talent will get you far without experience.
In wrestling, a good body and talent won't get you far without experience

I enjoyed tough enough. But the last one that just took up space on smackdown was poopie. As for the diva search...Well The wrestling fan in me screeches with both horror and anger, but the man part of me enjoyes it. Its a neverendeing struggle

Tough Enough was the E's attempt to cash in on the reality Show craze (I.E. Survivor). The Diva search was just a rehash of American Idol type viewer voting
In my less than humble opinion at least

And Johnny Nitro, and Matt Cappotelli I liked tough enough, when it was its own show and actually showed you how these guys were coming along in the training instead of last years Man Diva Search.
