Thought this is a good role for Big E. All he has to do is hit some big power moves and look kinda intimidating, while AJ and Dolph do all the rest. I think he's failling at the looking intimidating.

I've only seen a match or two of his from NXT. He seems to be pretty over, idk why they'd bring him in as a heel, let alone a silent one.

Well I assume the wwe will have him destroy other faces to build him up as a monster, even thought I agree he does not look very scary

I got to say, Langston's finisher looks much better in this clip.

His ring name sucks. They should've gone with his real name.
"That's it, John, I'm sick of your games. If you don't love me I'm going to call my friend Ettore and have him straighten you out! He's a big-time businessman and he knows how to deal with people like you!"
(one week later)
"Okay, John, you asked for it. Ettore had to cancel a big business trip for me so he's not gonna be happy to see you at all."
Enter Big E Langston Mr. Ettore Ewen in a suit, tie, and glasses. He cuts an erudite promo and THEN beats the living hell out of Cena.

"I'm not buying this new guy" -said after only two appearances, neither of which was a promo or a match Is it wrong to call him the "Black Ryback"?

I honestly can't figure out why so many of you dislike him already. He's been on TV for all of two minutes people. At least let the guy have a match or cut a promo before you judge him. I've seen several people bringing up how Big E doesn't look intimidating enough but Mark Henry does. Remember that Henry looked like this when he debuted: I get that people don't like hosses that much, but give the guy a break.

My biggest issue, is he does not look like he has any interest in being there.

But as a a character trying to apparently portray disinterested, stoic bodyguard type, a silent scary black man, he seems to me to be showing going through the motions while not caring. When he's stood over Cena and Miz or stepped up to Big Show there was no intensity in his eyes or movements, he was simply stepping up to the spot the script called for him to be in.

I don't get this. If his character is supposed to be stoic and disinterested, then why is it a problem that he looks disinterested?

Virgil, Mr. Hughes, Diesel, The Big Bossman, Chyna, Ezekial. Did any of them ever look that bored?

He's just there because the crazy chick wouldn't stop asking him to kick Cena's ass for her.

Is it wrong to call him the "Black Ryback"? "Ryblack" was trending on Twitter Monday night, so the American public is cool with it. So I'm not the only one. Thank you. It's kinda like 2003, when one brand had Brock Lesnar and the other had Batista. Two big hosses with ugly back tattoos. It was like trying to create their own Brock.
