I liked it.
Not just that the match was longer than usual, but for some reason it actually felt like it mattered and the people in charge, or at least the two wrestling, gave a damn.

All but the commentators, who'd rather talk about cell phone games.

The mostly dead crowd hurt it alot for me. They seem dead until someone (usually the face) wins and then they're cheering and applauding. But then I think they're just doing that because they're happy it's over. But I agree, I seem to like Eve vs. Kaitlyn. Both have a rivalry for a title instead of a guy, they're both competent to average in the ring, and they seem to have good chemistry.

Kaitlyn is great because she really puts a lot of intent behind her moves. Like she's actually trying to hit her opponent instead of the "now I am doing a move" deal. She sells well too. I actually think her performance last night was technically better than anything I can recall Trish doing.

I liked JBL trying to put the match over as important, and the people in it as important, which is better than the women usually get.

Kaitlyn is probably one of the better Divas to come along in a very long time. When they put her on NXT a few years ago she had less than two months of experience.

I really wish Layla was not cut out of this feud because all 3 brought a different dynamic and it worked beautifully as evidenced from the triple threat at hell in a cell. But knowing where it is going {Spoiler}Kaitlyn gets the title and move onto feud with AJ dropping the belt to her more than likely at mania. So I guess I cannot complain too much but still sucks.

I feel like the divas division for the most part has actually been kinda good recently. Had men had the matches the divas have had they would be much more appreciated. I think at this point people have such low expectations of the division and see it as so much of a joke that they flat out refuse to see the good that's been going on and give them a chance. When I look at the divas roster the amount of just flat out terrible wrestlers is really in the minority now and I wish people were more willing to make some noise for them.

They wrestle like they hate each other. It seemed like it. Both ladies hit each other with conviction and rage behind their moves. I felt the match told a good story and the action reflected it.

See what happens when you let talented Divas wrestle instead of skipping around and making out with half the roster or being arm candy for a 7 footer who's the worst wrestler on the roster.

Eve's screeching of "IT'S STILL MINE" in that bizarre voice while she hugged the belt was a pretty good bit of character.

I'm biased because I enjoy watching Kaitlyn wrestle (good technical skills and very easy on the eyes), but watching it live was great. I think they both put on a solid match and there was some good storytelling there.

They were given the time to tell a story in the ring and it resulted in a good match. Their PPV match benefited from their storytelling as well. Kaitlyn really does come off like she wants to kick the crap out of Eve, and seeing her do so is a lot of fun.
Eve is really nailing her character at the moment. I laughed out loud when she screamed at the referee "GIVE ME MY TITLE!! THANKYOU!!"

Problem is, in the current women wrestling scene (WWE & TNA), only 1 storyline for them at a time. There aren't multiple feuds going on. Just someone going against the champion. Wash, rinse, repeat. You're lucky if you are not part of the women's division because you get more screen time and the chance of having people care about you.

Eve is desperate to keep the title by any means and so deceitful. Kaitlyn hates everything about Eve and want to take away what she holds dear; the Diva's title.

It took me a long time to get to this point, but I'm a huge Eve mark now. Maybe it just shows how much she has improved both in the ring and with her character. Eve doesn't get enough love around here.

Kaitlyn's ratchet hair kind of works for her in matches like this, as it becomes a gosh awful mess in record time, and she looks like she's making an effort and is generally into the match. Another bonus last night was that both women looked exhausted in the closing straights, and banged up, so it put over that they were having a fight, rather than some sort of half-assed dance competition with moves.
