I don't really see the WWE as a kid's show. It just features material appropriate for children to watch.

I don't think wrestling has ever been a something that, aside from the Rock n' wrestling era, was really ever something that has made for children, just something that a lot of children watch. Kinda like the first Police Academy in a way. Heck, even in the Rock n' wrestling era, there was so many segments that aired then, that WWE wouldn't even think about showing now.

The idea of what kids should and should not watch is just so f***ed up it's beyond reason.
I don't know who sets the rules for what's PG and what's not, but as long as it's "okay" for kids to watch people beat each other senseless with chairs and led pipes, I'm having a hard time understanding what's not PG.
I think kids can endure watching a lot of strange shit on television. Most normal children understands the difference between reality and show. It's those who don't that needs to be watched over by responsible parents.

That's the point, but like Revenge of the Nerds, the producers realized a lot of young people watched it, and the subsequent movies were PG-13 or PG. Heck Police Academy even became a cartoon. When people find they can make money marketing something to children, they'll do it, they might tone somethings down, but it still doesn't make the product a kid show

WWE isn't a kids show, neither is it an "adults" show, their demographic is so wide that it's a general entertainment show suitable for pretty much anyone.
That is why the things people on here like don't necesarily go down well with the majority of the WWE's audience and why stuff that goes down well with everyone else doesn't go down so well with people on here. we are just a very small slice of a wide spectrum of different types of fans.

I've said it before, I'll say it again, Wrestling is all about how you can solve every single problem and misunderstanding in your life by brutally beating someone up. Not for kids at all.

I'm pretty sure the biggest demographic is late teens-adults so I'd assume it's not only for children no. I don't care though, if something's entertaining I'm not going to dislike it/not watch it just because it's aimed at kids.

Yes. And it always has been. Even when it was 'mature' it was actually the most immature thing on TV and primarily watched by children(myself being one of said children).
You'l be hard pushed to find many adults who watch WWE that didn't start watching as kids.
And there is absolutely nothing wrong with it being, primarily, for kids. The moment WWE becomes 'grown up' is the moment I stop watching. I've been watching for nearly 20 years and I don't see myself stopping soon.

All of the children, my cousins and nephews & nieces, watch the show. Then again, my family's always loved wrestling, dating back to my grandpa. Though some of my relatives, having been more of a WCW/NWA family before WCW died, tend to show them old stuff alongside new stuff. Which in comparison to some portions of those products...yeah, current WWE is far more a kid's show.

But it also teaches kids the real secret...you solve your problems by beating people up, but you look really cool while doing it. It's a valuable thing for kids to learn.

No it isn't, and if it's trying to be then any kids' show with women dressed like that should be ashamed of itself.
