I know its being abit picky but i really don't like how they've changed Ryback start of his theme to a slow "Feed..Me...More" compared to his original loud "Feed Me".
Its only a slight change and i doubt anyone else really noticed but i much prefered FEED ME before his theme kicked in...adding the entire phrase kinda lessens the impact of the theme hitting IMO.
Its picky i know but anyone else prefer that intro?

Personally, I really hated when they added the catch phrase to the entrance for a cheap pop, sort of like they did with Ryder's.

I noticed the changed as well, and I prefer the old intro too.

Every time I heard "FEED ME", I thought of Audrey II.
Then again, "FEED ME MORE" sounds a lot like "FEED ME SEYMOUR", so I guess I can't escape it.

All the successful memorable themes start with gimmicks Fixed it because not only does it encompass words, but also sound effects (like glass shattering, bells gonging, fire, etc.)

Even then: Chris Benoit, Christian, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, to name a few.

Even then: Chris Benoit, Christian, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, to name a few. Chris Benoits's was made famous by Our Lady Peace My favorite Christian theme started with "Christian! Christian!" John Cena's old theme started with spoken words, and now has annoying a bells and whistles beat behind it practically starts with Cena rapping I wouldn't consider Brock's theme all that great in my opinion

I'm shocked that someone agrees with me on this
"FEED ME" works better because of the pace and it isn't as slow and drawn out as "FEED...ME...MORE"

I just don't like Ryback's theme overall, as I think without the catchphrase it just sounds like a generic entrance music you would get in create a wrestler mode in WWE13. He keeps getting compared to Goldberg - but his entrance is no where near as intense or awesome nor is his music. But I still like him.
Speaking of great, successful, impactful entrance music that had no sound effect/catchphrase/gimmick at the start of it - Goldberg has to be up there.
Other's:
Hulk Hogan (counting Real American, NWO music and Voodoo Chile) Ultimate Warrior Batista John Cena Demolition (although I suppose the lyrics talked of their gimmick even if the initial intro doesn't)

Even then: Chris Benoit, Christian, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, to name a few. They added a guitar riff at the beginning of Lesnar's theme to get the cheap pop. edit: BTW, I do prefer "feed me"

I'm actually surprised they didn't have Daniel Bryan shout Yes/No at the start of his. They already have the pop-inducing symphonic intro before the guitars kick in. Serves the same purpose.

Speaking of pre-entrance sound cues, I do like the NATO phonetic alphabet spelling "Shield" at the start of The Shield's entrance music. Plays well into their gimmick.
