eh, it's all opinion. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Different flavours and what not. However that doesn't mean we don't get to beat you up for not liking Seinfeld, because that's the law. I would say I'm sorry but...i'm not.

Yeah, I realized that sounded a bit... uh... dickheaded of me, so I just rephrased it. Sorry. ^_^; It's cool, I just never realized that episode was the finale. I suppose it's been longer than I thought since I actually watched it.

I didn't like Seinfeld either. The problem being that I immensely dislike three of the four main characters. On the other hand, I love Curb Your Enthusiasm. Maybe if Seinfeld was just about George?

I never used to like Seinfeld either, and it's only recently that I started enjoying it. And I know many people who don't get the show's appeal. Seinfeld is just not for everybody.

I'd probably find the show funnier without the studio audience telling me when I should laugh.

I have never gotten into it either, but I don't think I've ever really given it a fair chance. Reruns are on all the time so one of these days I'll try again.

I love early Seinfeld.
The middle seasons are okay...but this is around the time I started to really hate Kramer. They just turned the crazy knob up on him around this time and almost all of his plots are just too absurd to enjoy, it ruined the balance and tone of everything else, even if sometimes things tied into it. Seasons 8 and 9 were pretty abysmal, this is when everyone was getting awful plots...especially George, who was my favorite character by far.

Oh, and I love Everybody Loves Raymond. Talk about a show that gets a bad rep, despite being pretty consistent. I guess you have to grow up in one of those families to enjoy it...it was quite surreal.

I always tell people who don't get Seinfeld to watch "The Contest". Kramer's revelation, followed by the bed scene, is one of the funniest things I've ever seen my entire life. And George in that episode...well, just go and watch it.
Jerry's incredibly simplistic "friends with benefits" conversation with Elaine in another episode also holds up as being hysterical.

When it was funny, it was rolling on the floor hysterical. When it wasn't funny, it was dull as could be.

When it was funny, it was rolling on the floor hysterical. When it wasn't funny, it was dull as could be. I agree with this. I remember certain episodes/jokes being really funny, but I've seen plenty of reruns come on in the afternoon that had me reaching for the remote out of sheer boredom. I never got into it or Friends....AT ALL!!!! Me neither. This was a terrible show. Nothing personal against anybody who liked it, but I have no idea where you're coming from with this shit. Just annoying, and not funny at all. Oh, and I love Everybody Loves Raymond. Talk about a show that gets a bad rep, despite being pretty consistent. I guess you have to grow up in one of those families to enjoy it...it was quite surreal. I don't know why I don't like this show. When it first came out I recognized Ray Romano from his appearances on Dr. Katz and he wasn't my favorite or anything but he was on there more than once and I thought he was pretty funny. When I heard he had his own show coming out I was kinda looking forward to it, but I tried watching it several times and it just doesn't make me laugh. Even some of the same jokes he'd used before that I'd gotten a kick out of didn't work for me in that context.

Contrary to Chris Rock's beliefs, there ARE people who love both Seinfeld and Wu-Tang. Greatest show ever.
