I tried to like it, but I just don't. I have never watched the Ashton Kutcher episodes, but the Charlie Sheen episodes don't interest me much either. What is the appeal to "Two and a Half Men"?

Sheen episodes are "kinda" funny.
1. booze addicted rich guy 2. soft spoken straight guy brother 3. wise cracking kid 4. smart mouthed maid
I mean theres a formulaic sitcom if ever there was one.

The episodes with Sheen are okay as far as mindless sitcoms go. Haven't watched the ones with Kutcher though.

The man Drinks all the time, gets a lot of woman, lots of money whitout doing anything. So of course alot of man see him as a example and indentify with what he wants.Sex ,Money and Booze with no effort.

The appeal is that you're 15 years old and you don't have cable. If those 2 components are in place, you're going to love how "edgy" it is.

I like the sheen episodes (Well seasons 1 - 3, 4 - Kutcher were VERY hit & miss) but I find the Kutcher ones piss poor.
Nothing against Kutcher but he's just not funny in the show, John Cryer & Conchata Ferrell can only do so much to carry the show (and even Cryer is now running on Fumes) and Jake stopped being funny around season 3

I found that the show got less funny as the boy got older.
Then it stopped being funny altogether when Charlie left.

I really liked the first few seasons but it was just alright later in the Sheen run. Not into the Kutcher version. It was a good show but it has run it's course.

Plus the way Charlie ended i think that left alot of people turned off on the show.

No laugh track with that show = no laughs. Same with the Big Bang Theory.

For me, the Charlie Sheen episodes worked because that felt like he was just being himself. I mean, I don't know if Charlie Sheen is rich but I'm sure he loves to drink and it's fairly certain he loves sex. Ashton Kutcher just seems so unbearably forced.

I tried to watch it too, but realized quickly it wasn't for me, so I never got the appeal either.
That, Big Bang Theory and HIMYM are all CBS shows that are incredibly popular, but I just don't find the least bit amusing.
