I'm Lord Duke Ambassador for the Great and WONDROUS Kingdom of Parts Unknown. FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! I'm live in the Great Kingdom of North Parts Unknown, he's South. We got a disputed zone between us and one day I will reclaim the rest of my homeland. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a unicorn skeleton to plan....I mean find.

With each passing day this board gets further away from it's original roots as part of Wrestlecrap which attracted those of us that loved mixing wrestling and comedy...... Which is why I frequent the TNA Forum, nobody takes anything seriously over there (though honestly how could you). ;D

In all fairness, you asked a question, then got passive aggressive when people called you out on making a blanket statement. Not trying to sound like an ass, or start an argument, just making an observation.

This isn't about any alleged "negativity" or anything, because from what I'm reading here, the consensus seems to be that WWE generally has a solid product, but just needs to listen to its fans a little more. With that in mind, why is every thread here lately a serious discussion on ratings, booking, heel/face dichotomys and pushes? What happened to the random fun stuff like Kane Taking A Dump, Jardu Cenesh, the basketballs or even Goord One Johrn? The running gags have dried up, and the photoshop threads have been replaced with segment breakdown talk. There was a lot of fun, crazy stuff being produced back in 2009 when most people thought the product (Raw especially) was boring at best and embarrasing at worst. So what's with the dry spell now that the sentiment seems to be a little better? It's as if there's been a total ideology shift. I know you've seen that freaky photo with Rock and the bull. There's a goldmine of potential there, and you wanna talk about his alleged homophobia? I like to think you did this while typing out this post. Also, I am the ambassador for Truth or Consequences, New Mexico

Dude, you kinda said everyone was some never pleased hive minded entity, don't play the victim, maybe you worded it wrong, but you said it, no one said a thing before your second post.

For these kind of threads to keep coming up as much as they have been lately, there must be something there to cause it. I just feel like that there's underlying tension in this part of the forum, because just about all of us "know" the direction that the company is heading in (not really, but no one would be surprised) and we're all resigned to our fate, regardless of who one likes or dislikes... That being Punk losing to Rock at Royal Rumble and Rock losing to Cena at WrestleMania. For all intents and purposes, we could be back at May 2011 with Cena as the UNDISPUTED MAN of the company with the gold, Punk seemingly directionless as a lower main-event heel and the established guard back on top. Almost as if the pipebomb never happened. As a consequence, it seems like no one is getting excited about wrestling anymore. Almost as though some people are treating it as a chore, and not something they enjoy watching.
Now, some people will hate the direction they're going, and some people will love it. That's how it's always been and that's how it will always be. Personally, in regards to the above scenario, it's not what I'd do (I'd have Punk beat Rock, get Rock's respect and lead to a double turn between Punk and Cena that would be cemented in a WrestleMania triple threat match), but I'm not going to freak out about it. That's not my way. They know what they're doing more than I do. But I won't criticise anyone for feeling ways opposite to mine.

First you 'asked' this: everyone kind of gave random "yeah I like Punk but the reign is too long" or "yeah i like cena" and then you 'asked' this, completely out of left field: And that just started an argument, because you're accusing a non-existent hivemind of people of being pissed about a match result that didn't happen yet. That's what causes a lot of arguments around here, people that are "board smarks" and like to point out the flaws in everyone's opinions and lump them together in order to discredit them.

There's one particular ongoing thread right now which really seems to back up the case in the OP. You know the one.

I was, of course, referring to the name-swapping thread...

I've noticed a lot of hostility based on differing opinions on angles. Look at how angry the AJ threads get... hell look how many threads AJ get that basically say the same thing. Then occasionally a Rosa Mendes or Aksana thread will pop up and if people don't like them, they get attacked for being sexist (happens more than it should)
Other than that, WWE has just been kind of boring in terms of things to make fun of. People hated the Triple H running raw stuff, but the thread that popped up here after the talent walkout remains one of the funniest threads I've ever seen.
