Well It's that time of the year, a time of reflection thinking what if? and chewing over your triumphs.
Mine, for the first 7 months was a total write off in a relationship I didn't want to be in coupled with having a messy (rather public) split. After that though things picked up, got an easy ass office job, started hanging about with friends more and obviously making the most of being single with the ladies and in general enjoying life again.
Anyways FAN, how was yours?

Pretty good actually. Got 2 semesters closer to my associates degree and traveled quite a bit during the summer.

A lot more down than up but I should live through it God willing.
Jan. and Feb. were rough, dealing with my Grandmother's death the past Oct. Bills, helping my aunt, who was living with her and raising her 3yo niece make ends meet and trying to help the niece cope with her death. Ended up giving my truck to my uncle the day after my birthday in Jan. to my Uncle (3yo is his daughter who he lost because of drug issues) so he could get a job (he had been taking care of my grand mother) to help with bills, haven't has a vehicle or easy mode of transportation since.
Mar. was alright but Apr. my dad lost his job. He made most of the money in the house so it got tough. I blamed myself for that which only made it harder. Luckily between his retirement (which he cashed in and still bothers me), unemployment and what little my mom made we scrapped by until he got a job in Sept.
I got hired on at Best Buy to be security in May but never got a call to work until June when they told me they'd give me 5 hours a month to unload a truck. That crushed me mentally and really hurt.
Sept. my dad got a job and things looked up but toward the end I got sick and have been in and out if the hospital since.
So yeah, been rough to say the least but it could have been worse and I'm alive. Got to look for the good. I'm looking forward to changing things in 2013.

Not good really... -We were evicted out of our own house (by my aunt who somehow bought it even though we were not notified.) Got extension but then were tossed in September (while I was at school.) Parents thankfully knew someone who had a place for us to live (we may have been homeless if not.) -Dad applied for social security in august (can't work due to a mini stroke he suffered in 2010.) Almost five months later and not ONE check has arrived. Apparently, it gets handed off from one person to another who just sits on it. It apparently just needs to be signed but the guy who has to sign it has been out last few days. -Dad was awarded a settlement for a permanent injury to his shoulder months back, he also has not gotten that yet. We apparently almost got it in August but the wrong address was written down. It is apparently there and just needs to clear but possible the insurance company and fed reserve may be taking their time because they're buddies. Should be talking to a woman who pushed it far (they were lazier in the past believe it or not) on Wednesday. -We got awarded half the money of the house due to my Grandmother's will. Despite the fact my aunt finally signed (she had dragged her feet in doing so) we haven't gotten that either due to reasons we are not sure about. Lots of fishy people.
There was some good though. My sister is due to have her second child next year and I got through a rough semester pretty well. In the next few months we should be financially set and I will graduate. Good things coming.

Pretty good, all things told. Still alive, have a job, paying my bills, lost a little bit of weight thanks to my job. All in all the only thing missing from this year was getting a girlfriend.

Not bad. Almost done with grad school, made some new friends, had some good times, including my first trip to New Orleans, going to Orlando with some family members. 2013 is already shaping up to be even better.

Like every year: It had its ups and its downs. Could've been better, but it could've been a lot worse. All in all: Meh.

Up and down:
Worked at three different places (fired from one, work stopped at another but I'm back there now, the other was just a temporary), got a car, my team made the AFL Grand Final (but they lost), saw some good movies, saw some great music performances. \
So here are a couple of the highlights... I was there for these:

The first 3/4 of the year was kind of blah, but it kept together with good friends, got to go to a few wrestling shows, and at the end of the year, finally got rid of the crazy 40-year old single mother of two girlfriend for somebody who's almost half her age and LOVES sports and wrestling and who I have so much in common for.
So all in all, more like a C- to a C.

I moved house and got a job promotion, so mostly a good, if uneventful year.

Barring a messy break-up of sorts, first half was pretty good. My Final Grades were decent and in June I got to spend an unforgettable four weeks in Africa. Second half has been pretty boring/disappointing. Didn't make the cut for Third year acting, got only one spot in a play although I still enjoyed it...aside from that nothing to write home about.
Overall I give my 2012 a B+ if only because Africa was that damn good.

Very revealing, and despite some ups and down, I'm ihappily in love now with two people I care about.

Kicked out by my wife, missing my daughters birthday tonight, yeah this year sucks. I am terrified of what next year brings.

-Tried out for Wrestling School with Lance Storm, did it for a week but my arthritis got the better of me (more on that later)
-Bought a house
-Started on a new path in my job, essentially getting a higher paid job
-Got a new car, that worked
-Got a girlfriend, was dumped quickly after, but it was the first time in awhile, so it gave me some confidence back
-Started a new medication which is dramatically helping my arthritis, to the point I was able to run for the first time in over a year.
In 2013, I'm looking to actually get out and travel again, get an income property, get another safety job and get paid in the bigger money for a longer period. And maybe, another stab at the wrestling school, but I'm not sure about that at this point. The big bad news was my dog that was at my parent's house, that we had since 1999, died a few weeks ago.

Here is how I looked when 2012 started and how I look at the end of it. One hell of a year I must say.
