It was a LOT better then last year.
I got to be at Fenway Park for the first time and meet Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy, I had my breakout year in Drama Club by getting to play my first lead since 5th Grade, I was able to meet a lot of new friends (Gotta love those transfer students sometimes), and I was able to keep my grades steady, and I'm at a comfortable position heading into the second half of the schoolyear.
I've had my bad moments (Financial troubles, looking like an idiot in front of my friends and family), but overall I'd say it was a big improvement over last year, which was filled with depression and unfortunate personal events.

This was a good year overall, ups and downs of course, but mostly pretty damn great. Got some music stuff done that i'm pleased with although didn't get as much done as i would've liked. Got to do some travelling too which is always good, and met some cool people It's also been a year of seeing legends perform... at the beginning of the year I saw Hulk Hogan wrestle then midway through the year I saw some of the biggest rock and metal guys/bands ever at a festival: Slash, Metallica, Black Sabbath, etc. truly amazing. Was hoping to cap the year off by seeing The Rolling Stones too but it was just too damn expensive Last few months have slipped off a bit, but looking forward now.

Probably the worst year I've ever had, personally..best friend got shot and killed after a fight in Boston back in April. I had lost my job one week earlier and had told my other roommate to move out one month prior, so that meant I was stuck with the entire rent on top of having no job and no one else to rely on. I got two friends to move in a month later, they bailed a month after that with one of them never paying me a dime. I had enrolled in wrestling school and muay-thai kickboxing classes back in January, two of the things in my life I enjoyed doing and those had to be stopped as not only did I not have the money to pay for them, but the wrestling school itself which was ever so conveniently located down the street from my house just shut down. I still owe the gym I did kickboxing at a decide chunk of money..so, I move back in with my mom who I haven't lived with in five years and the relationship is rocky at best. Days after my friend dies my ex decides to stroll back into my life and not long after decides to give me the cold shoulder when I get a job at her work cooking..I eventually had to leave that job and I just finally decided to kick that bitch out of my life for good last week. So, yeah, it was a long drawn out mess of a year for me. Probably leaving out some things, but in short very little positives, and a ton of bullshit.

things didn't start looking up for me until september, when i was hired at a job i like, and it turns out, am also pretty decent at.
janurary-august were a bit shakey though. kicked off the new year with a job (found out two weeks into the new year i wasn't hired for a full time position), a relationship (broke up a week before his birthday at the end of feb), and those two things alone sent me into a fun thing i like to call "depression", which pretty much lasted until mid july when i decided if i wanted things to change, then i should start changing.
so i started to knit scarves and sell them for extra cash at x-mas, began to diet, and not turn down invites for when my friends asked if i wanted to go out with them.
really learned a lot this year, as i now have a pretty steady job, a good relationship with my ex, and i'm just more generally happy.
also, i got netflix a few days ago, and i love it

Sucked. My grandma had cancer all year, got bad in July, & worsened till she died the day after Thanksgiving. My wife & I took care of her the whole time. Without hospice.
Other than that, still sucked. Here's to a better 2013!

It was decent. I mean I worked the filing season in the spring but I did better than I did previous seasons and could have stayed if I wasn't distracted in the first few weeks. I took a test to see if I can get on a waitlist for a permanent job. I got a decent rank but there is still hope as I applied for a position. Hope I get a call soon.
I was part of the college newspaper because I am a journalism major and it was a really good experience for me. I did not think that I would be good at sports writing because I don't know a lot about sports but I did well on the articles I wrote.
Also, I got to spend a lot of time with my nephew who turned one in November. I love that little boy so much.
It was better than 2011 in my opinion, though my nephew's birth was one of the greatest things to happen for me that year.

Honestly, I find that the older I get, the more things stay the same. There were ups and downs, but nothing earth-shattering in either aspect.

Jan-June had the funnest working job with great hours and freedom and something I was great at doing. Social life was pretty good as well.
July-August: Second boss left and moved out to CowTown (Calgary) for a better promotion. I was finally getting a long with her and realized why she was so tough at first and I appreciated it later. I wasn't making much as I should and the job was getting too easy and they weren't offering me a promotion. Decided to leave when I find a new job and continue running the operation as the unofficial boss hoping everything was good since I was the most respected employee and got numbers to climb up while giving it my all. Still not one word from corporate, got a better paying higher challenging job and left.
September-December: Makings lots of money and working long hours and getting lots of experience points to move ahead in life id I ever decide to move on future endeavors. Made one great new friend and lost many friends due to lack of social life and alienation. I hate how dirty my place gotten from roommates who gotten lazier and since I'm not at home as often I'm not cleaning as often. Can't wait for my lease to expire on April and get my own place to further alienate myself. Had a meltdown last night. Also I'm in the worst shape of my life and my dating skills gone downhill drastically after being a victim of a one night stand.
So overall in the longterm I believe 2012 was better than 2011, was more productive, and had a few great moments. But overall I wasn't depressed as often or had as many anxiety attacks I did during 2011. So I give it a C which is the same I gave last year but it's not strong enough to earn a +

It was okay. Some good things happen and some crap things happen. I hope that 2013 is the best year in my life and wish it is also the best year of all of your lives!

It was supposed to be the greatest year in life entertainment, but my fiancee dumped me on Xmas Day. Yep, Schiavone and Russo indirect references in one sentence.

On the plus side my wife's rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia are much more under control. Also, she has finally quit using credit cards to give money to her broke family. On the negative side she has us so far in debt that the interest alone is a killer and I doubt we get out from under the debt before we're too old to adopt like we planned. So I can't say I'm unhappy but I can't say I'm satisfied either.

Got married in April. That was pretty great. Resigned from my job at a newspaper in July, in order to pursue something in my field (HR/Employment Services). Sadly accrued a bit of debt, but finally got hired somewhere right before the holidays. Start Thursday.
Started doing DDP Yoga on a regular basis, along with adjusting my diet. Cut back on drinking which at one point, circa 2007 was a daily endeavour for me.
My old cat is still alive and in great health... All in all, it was a pretty good year. But 2013 will be better.

I managed to get a few pictures done but that was the highlight of the year. The rest of it was fairly rotten. My depression was off the charts here and there and overall I was just incredibly unhappy.
I plan to change that in 2013. I can't live this way anymore.

I'm going too say 2012 was a far much better year over all then the hell that was 2011. When there was very few positives in 2011 for me. 2012 had a lot more.
First half. Started with a crazy new years with a lot of fun. The rest of Jan to April. The first part of the year wasn't much going on. As I was just mainly gathering stuff for my new house. Hung with my friends for the Super Bowl. Nothing major on my end. Dealt with a friend having a tough time and she got over it.
April: I moved into my new house after losing my other house in the 2011 tornado. That was the biggest thing in 2012 for me. To be back on my own again. Also quit my second job I had with my full time job being better.
The Summer had the Ten year High School Reunion Which was a blast. An awesome float trip. And becoming closer to another friend just by hanging out more often. Help my close friend and his future wife move into there house. Went to an awesome Kiss and Motley Crew concert.
Sept and first half of Oct was hell, More so for my friend by being a big part of helping her made for me a lot of worry, stress and just a sad time as I truely felt for her. By the end of the month she become better. Had a blast with a scary movie night and other things.
Nov was great to see the family for Thanksgiving. That all that really happened. Outside just hanging out with friends and stuff. Dec Great Christmas and ended with a good new years.
I hope a great 2013. So far could be worst but could been better. Starting if off sick is not how I wanted it.
