I cant believe they were able to sneak toy story 4 on us so fast. Bonus points for it being in the Wall-E universe (though the scene in the abandoned toy store where megatron shot rex was kind of dark for a pixar film). And even though the ant-man movie exceeded expectations, i personally loved the post-credits teaser for the power man and iron fist film.

Making Season 4 all about Rarity was the greatest thing ever Still, combining it into a 6 and a 1/2 hour film and releasing it theatrically was a mindbogglingly stupid idea. I appreciate Hasbro's ambition and I still rank Rarity at or near Best Pony, but I can see why it got only 3% on Rotten Tomatoes. |

I will admit that Tony Stark sex change in Iron Man 3 was a gutsy move.
I felt bad for Pepper but Tony (excuse me, Colette) and Steve Rogers make a cute couple.

And people said that Seth Rogen couldn't play James Bond. "He's too fat", "he's not suave", "he's overexposing himself after This Is The End", "it's not even an Eon-produced Bond". And not only did Brokenclaw outgross Skyfall, Seth's getting OSCAR BUZZ.
All while being directed under Michael Bay, of all people!

The whole Justice League thing... astounding! Simultaneous 6-episode mini-series on all 3 networks, with all tying directly into the movies... then the 3 movies coming out one month after the other... Marvel set the bar in 2012, but DC definately cleared it in 2013!

The second film of the Hobbit trilogy turned into hardcore pornography so gradually of the course its 3 hour running time, I didn't really notice.

The Stanley Kurbick film Dancing Lizards, that was discovered in his under what used to be his bed by his widow, this was absolutely amazing. Daniel Day-Lewis, Harrison Ford and Sally Field were perfect in their roles. IMO the best movie of the year.
