So it was posted on WWE.com's front page, their twitters/facebook, ect. And it was not treated as a spoiler of Wade Barrett capturing the IC Title from Kofi. Plus it was probably free to talk about here on the board.
Did anyone manage to watch RAW "live" tonight and be actually surprised about Wade Barrett winning?

Well, I don't think it was Randy Orton winning the World title from Christian-bad, at least.

They shouldn't have even announced it; by mentioning that Wade Barrett won on a night where challengers were chosen by the champions, they pretty much spoiled that no other title changed hands, otherwise those would get announced as well.

Not really surprised. I just didn't really care. Barrett is about as exciting as settling in for the night and watching C-Span until bed time.
I'm getting sleepy just typing this about him.

I didn't know, but I figured it out. I saw that a title changed hands but didn't know which. Thought maybe Dolph cashed in, & when he didn't the IC title was the only one yet to be defended.
Oddly, I enjoyed the match moreso than if I didn't know the outcome. I watched the match in a different way, looking for little things, & to see if either guy did something different. I thought it was a really good match, & was glad I watched.

They shouldn't have even announced it; by mentioning that Wade Barrett won on a night where challengers were chosen by the champions, they pretty much spoiled that no other title changed hands, otherwise those would get announced as well. That's how I felt too. I watched my DVR's Raw this morning and once Miz said all the titles were on the line, there was zero drama to watch any of them. I knew Barrett won, and all the other champions retained.

Yep. I detest spoilers so much, and WWE now spoiling their own product via social media... I know it's probably their figuring that at least they get the news out there first versus dirtsheets and all, but geez it's annoying.

I didn't know, but I wasn't online late last night really.
Ended up being a decent match though and Barrett looking legitimately happy to win the title again.

They've been giving out the results of title changes on taped shows for a while. I remember WWF.com posting about a WWF Title change from a taped Raw back in the late 90s.

I was out with my friends for NYE so I missed Raw, and I watched on DVR a little bit ago. Somehow, despite that and it being taped in advance, I had NO idea he won. I was pleasantly shocked when he did, too. I usually get this stuff spoiled....like the time Christian lost the WHC on SD and we had like a 4280983 page thread about it on here. Either the entire arena exploded that night or someone beat Christian.

Wasn't Kofi beating Miz for the IC Title also spoiled before it aired? I think it was also on Main Event, I don't think WWE cares anymore.
