Great read. I am a huge fan of the post apocalyptic genre in movies, books and tv. Saw the film a few times. The film version was the most departed from source material I have ever seen. My gawd, was that thing different. Wikipedia also has the worst possible synopsis. How do I edit that? Seriously?
At least it was in Oregon. Anyone else read this?

Never read the book, but I liked the film. It was too long though. With a good edit it would have been better.

What were some of the differences between the film and book? I remember the film being recieved more poorly than Waterworld.

Loved the movie, but I enjoyed Water World too.

Great book. I got it to read when I flew across the country on business. I thought I would finish on the flight home but I finished it in the hotel instead.
The movie was very disappointing.

The Book is 1000 times better than the movie.

Not a great movie, but I did like the part where the people booed at Universal Soldier and wanted The Sound of Music instead. It seemed to make so much sense in a world where violence was very common.
