@zackryder No reason for me to watch the ball drop tonight…I lived through the ball being dropped with me all year.
The guy is frustrated, lets help him out FAN! Write a worked shoot promo that helps him rage against the machine.

Hey Zack how about adding layers to your character?
I can see Zack in a few years acting as if it is the WWE's fault with his depush and doing all these shoot interviews to the point of nausea.

Uh, yeah, Zack. Between "Hoski" and "Just because our names both end in -er...", you've dropped more balls than a New York Jets receiver.

While I dislike the way he was handled in the aftermath of the Eve/Cena/Kane stuff, he also hasnt done much to keep himself over.

While I dislike the way he was handled in the aftermath of the Eve/Cena/Kane stuff, he also hasnt done much to keep himself over. ...much? He's been the same guy for the past 3 years. He could've come across as the relatable, average workaday underdog character and they could've done gangbusters with that but because his character never takes anything seriously and falls back on the same 3-4 catchphrases, he's a total disaster when he's out in the open. It's like watching the TV show Joey. "Hmmm, let's get Matt LeBlanc's character from Friends with his daft demeanor, love for sex and sandwiches, and catchphrases, and try to build a show around him with a bad supporting cast and no character progression at all!"

While I agree with you, I should admit that creative didnt exactly do him any favors. He gets destroyed by Kane for about a month straight, screwed over by Eve. Then in the GM match Mania build up, Eve fakes a face-ish turn then screwed his team over (and making him look like a total ass along the way). All the while, he got no revenge on anyone

Creative totally mismanaged it and blaming him entirely is ignoring the other factors. Though I do think that the fact that he didn't adapt around it did hurt him. Some characters come out of bad angles smelling like roses (i.e. Daniel Bryan, Mr. 18 seconds).

Truly great talent can and will find ways to rise above some bad cards (Look at some of the stupidity Kane has endured in 15 years time). I think Ryder is better than he's been treated, but not nearly as much so as *he* thinks

I remember when the "Woo, woo, woo" thing first started, when he was still in a tag team with Hawkins and they were just getting out of the Edge-heads gimmick. I loved it. Thought it was great. Didn't even mind the Jersey Shore character he has now. But f***, it is old as piss. He really should be a heel at this point. Maybe that's what they're building up to? Have him sell it big on twitter? Hm.

I liked when Zack was doing stuff to get over, and did so.
But now that his gimmick is just "I'm misused, feel sorry for me" I'd rather he just go away. He isn't good enough for me to feel sorry for him.

I'm starting to dislike his attitude, and I was right there cheering him on this time last year. Try stepping up instead whining on Twitter, perhaps?

If only Zack's Dad was on TV with him, maybe that will happen when/if Morrison returns.
