A little while ago a friend and I watched the 50 Greatest Finishing Moves release on Netflix and amongst the discussion there was one comment that really stood out of place to me.
During the Diamond Cutter segment they cut to Matt Striker a few times and he is on topic in all of them except for one. After which it is never elaborated on or spoken of again.
It cuts to him with his hands in the air doing the Diamond Cutter taunt which he follows by saying "This is the symbol of the Illuminati".
Needless to say I was left scratching my head. It had no context in the discussion what so ever, no follow up commentary and even if it was something random he said while being interviewed for the DVD someone decided to still include it even after editing it together.
To date this is the most random comment I ever seen on a WWE DVD.
Anyone else felt the same way?

It's Striker. He says weird things that aren't normal for wrasslin.
But continue on with the shenanigans.

No, it's the sign of the Freemasons. There is a difference.

Yeah, that symbolism is from Freemasonry, which they didn't even create...they got it from Egypt. And Egypt didn't even create it. You can trace the origins back to Babel, to be honest. The Theosophical Society and Aleister Crowley were also heavy with those symbolisms and their meanings.
I won't go any further, because it all boils down to religion. I'll respect the rules of this forum when it comes to that. But if anyone is interested, check out vigilantcitizen's website. They show alot of information when it comes to these symbols being shown through today's culture, media, and entertainment.
Just don't get too concentrated on that stuff, because it will depress you after awhile.
PM me if you want a link.

So it's just Matt being a failed know-it-all again? Doesn't surprise me since the clown once said Arsenal are an Irish team

Lucky for us, the illuminati and all big dumb supposed all-seeing conspiracies don't exist.
Matt's clearly joking here. While I was apprehensive at first as I hadn't seen the clip and Matt, while an educated individual (as well as a teacher), is from a section of New York where there's an odd particular cluster of people who believe conspiracy bullshit, leaving me concerned he might be a touch nutzoid.
But listen to his vocal inflections and look at his facial expression. It isn't one of "did I just blow your mind?!" or "we need to fear this" but, rather, he's treating the idea of an Illuminati like the science fiction it truly is. If anything, it's left in as a shot at Jay-Z who DDP sued for using the hand-sign, which (unrelated to DDP and the suit) lead to rumors among idiots that Jay was "illuminated."

Breaking News: Matt Stryker is in negotiations with Hulk Hogan to become the leader of Aces and 8's. Mike Tenay: this guy is a former teacher who wrestled in the extreme and used to color commentate matches up north.

He referred to someone (I think Ezeikel Jackson) as Nibiru, Planet X, The Destroyer. Safe to say that he is a bit out there.
