I’m usually not one to create “hate threads”, but this has been bothering me for quite some time.
While Tamina is certainly a lot better than many other divas’ in the division currently, her finishing move looks so god damn awful I cringe every time I see it.
Normally I don’t care much about the divas or the divas division, but it just pains me to see the announcers hyping the move whenever she does it (not their fault though, they are probably forced to). I’m not sure how technically advanced a superfly splash is (I probably couldn’t do one), but it doesn’t look that hard to an experienced wrestler, you pretty much just jump of the top rope and land on your opponent (I’m sure it takes a bit of practice to do well though).
The way Tamina does it is awkwardly climbing the robes, standing up like her balance is way off, and then clumsily leaning forward and do some weird motions with their hands and feet mid-air before landing with a thud on top of her opponent that doesn't seem to have any impact at all. It looks like she’s hardly done the move before, and it’s supposed to be one of the focus points of her gimmick (daughter of superfly and so forth).
Anyone else troubled by this?

I don't really agree and think it's fine in general, but I do think it looks like she's holding back every time she does it. She looks like she could hit it if her opponent was a good 2-3 further away.

She's a lot bigger than the other divas she wrestles, so she probably tries not to actually injure them. I think it still looks fine.

The first .gif almost looks like she botches at the end.

From those gif's, it does look like she's leaping a shorter distance than she'd be comfortable with. Move the diva a couple feet toward the center of the ring and the splashes would look progressively better.

The top rope splash is such an awesome and underrated move IMO. It's just classic wrestling to me, I really like Tamina's and the one the Usos do too.

She seems to me to do the move more like Umaga did than her dad did

It's not a thing of beauty like her dad's version, but it's alright. It should remain her finisher.

I haven't watched a lot of Tamina matches but the splash in the first gif is exactly how it looked every time I've seen her do it, and I agree completely with the OP that it looks incredibly awkward and clumsy. However, in the second gif it looks great.

Ive seen the odd few which look wonky as hell, but sometimes she just nails it perfectly.
