We used one when I was a kid, but that was quiet a while ago now. I have largely avoided them, because I considered them to not be practical for a single guy living on his own. But I am planning a major workout blitz soon, and will need to eat a lot to meet my goals, so perhaps buying food in bulk is a good idea. Anyone got anything they can tell me?

I have a Sams Club card. If you can afford to put up more money up front, but save money in the long run, it can be a good deal.

I've had a free Sam's Club membership since 1996. I rarely use it.

Used to, my mother was self employed, so she got a free Costco & Makro card. Was pretty cool.

My mom has Costco I think. He had a Sams Club and there was a lot I liked there. I used one if I had one but I won't play for one to buy something. How often would I use it is what I'm not sure about.

I buy all my meat from Sams. It is about .50 cents cheaper than normal store. So I buy big packs then split it and freeze it. Great for certain things.
