Was a fresh take for Taker. Who else enjoyed it?

I enjoyed 2001-02 heel Undertaker more than any incarnation of the Undertaker.

Loved it. By far my favorite time of his career. Great matches, great promos, amazing storylines and an amazing character.

I'm surprised it's gotten only positive response so far. I liked it, but granted, I can't stand the "deadman" character and Satantaker was just beyond awful. I'm not sure I understand why evil incarnate would care about wrestling to the point he tried to murder someone by embalming them alive.

Yeah I was hoping last year when he came back it would be a hybrid of the Takers, biker taker with some of the dead man mixed in

Loved it. Kind of miss it, but at the same time, it's good to have the classic Dead Man Undertaker around.

"I'll make you famous." He ripped that line from a movie...

Loved it, especially after the "respect" heel turn. There was just something really entertaining and mind blowing seeing the Undertaker perform so well an insecure, egomaniac that tried to justify his legacy by bullying people. Admittedly it came off the heels of a similar run Austin had, but I felt the characters were different enough there wasn't really a feeling of rehashing.

I liked it. It was a refreshing change and it let Taker come off as a tough badass, rather than a scary one.

Most of my friends hated it but I didn't mind it at all. Taker's gimmick was becoming stale anyway after the disastrous Ministry of Darkness angle and he needed a fresh start. Other than his feud with Maven, I really enjoyed his work, mostly his heel run.

I loved it, and I never understand why Vince always tries to pretend it didn't happen. What was so bad about BikerTaker?

I love it more in retrospect. Back as it was happening it was cool when he debuted, but I quickly wanted the Deadman back. It's great looking back at how awesome I couldn't tell he was at the time. It really was an amazing run.

It resulted in the match that got me into wrestling (the ladder match with Hardy) so yeah, I'm a fan.

Liked the character, didn't like the heel stuff. I never bought Taker as a heel, in any incarnation. Dude has always seemed totally disconnected from the good guy/bad guy spectrum. Watching his work with Hogan, even when he's all choking him in the ring and stuff, it just seems like he's doing his own thing. I'd like to see that character come back, only with that kind of aura and presentation.

We used to joke that Biker Taker came about because he didn't want to change clothes or apply guyliner before his matches.
But, yeah, loved it.

Didn't like it. I absolutely understand that Taker was getting stale, but the gimmick just fell flat to me. I found it too boring(and it didn't help that he came to limp bizkit and kid rock music).
