Sam Adams Boston Lager is the only one I can drink and enjoy. And even then, my overall taste for beers has diminished in recent years.

I'm surprised, for all the love indie music and wrestling get on this forum, that more of you aren't indie beer drinkers. Dogfish Head, Brooklyn Lager, Magic Hat, Surly's, Grain Belt, Allagash etc. Whole new world. Great Lakes for the win.

At this stage in my life I only drink "indie beers"...not to be terminally hip (hipsters tend to drink crappy/cheap beer), but because of two reasons.
#1 is obviously the taste and variety. It's winter time, which means I want full-bodied, robust beers, and that means seeking out microbrews.
#2 is that I've tried over the years to limit my beer intake, so if I can have one or two REALLY good beers I'm much more satisfied than I am with four mediocre or crappy ones.
I actually got my roommate a variety pack of Western microbrews (brewed in places like California, Montana, even Alaska), and there's some nice ones. Recently had a Brooklyn Brewery Imperial Chocolate Stout (the only Chocolate Stout I know of that isn't made with chocolate), and it's very nice, but a true butt kicker.

I'm really liking the new Sam Adams Double Agent IPL. (IPA meets Lager). The only Sam Adams I don't like is one of the cherry wheat ones that tastes too much like medicine to me.
Founders Cenetnial IPA (Michigan) is one of my favorites. Dragonmead in Detroit is also a fantastic microbrewery, though I've only had their Crown Jewel IPA and not Final Absolution (their signature beer).
IPAs are my favorite beer, because I like beer. They are the beeriest beers.

Holy s***, nice call on namedropping Surly. If there was ever a reason to live in Minnesota, it's to drink Furious 'till the cows come home. Ever had Bourbon County Brand Stout before? Pure alcoholic divinity. Yeah, I adore Surly's. My favorite is their Cynic. Excellent beer right there. Never had BCBS before. See it a few times, but never pulled the trigger. Based on your recommendation, I'll try it next time I see it, thanks. I don't know how much of it is left in NYC (though it probably won't be impossible to find), but if you also come across Cherry Rye Bourbon County (white label/pink lettering) or Bourbon County Coffee (burnished red label), seriously give it a shot. Be warned they're kind of expensive, though (I somehow got BCBCS for $12 a 22 oz bottle in Northern VA, which is a damn steal compared to the prices its selling for elsewhere)

I guess mine would be San Miguel beer. Red Horse, too, but I gotta admit that the taste can be a bit eh.

Your husband is bringing other men in? Saucy! I'd agree, but why the 200-year-old corpse of a founding father? As for me, I don't venture outside my Bud Light/Michelob bubble. I tried Heineken once and it tasted like fermented piss.

I like Kokanee or any Rickards that isn't the white kind. I love Lucky Ale and Boxer. Pabst Blue Ribbon tastes like cheap Canadian beer so it's a good thing. I don't think I can ever move to America simply because I love Canadian beer too much.

You know Labatt's and Molson's are taste essentially like cheap American macrobrews like Coors and Budweiser right? If you were talking about Canadian craft beers then I rescind my previous statement.

I personally disagree. I enjoy a good Labatt Blue but not a fan of Coors or Bud so I guess they don't taste the same to me.
