Hey all. So I got my XBox 360 awhile back and found out a number of my games could not be played without an update. Since I didn't know how to update at the time, I sold those games to a local record store. I checked online and one of my favorite XBox games (Evil Dead: Regeneration) could be played on the XBox 360 if I updated my software. So I bought the game used from my local record store and brought it with me on my trip out of town. I was able to download the most recent update to the XBox from their website and updated my system. I put the game in and... nothing happened.
So I called the people at XBox. They said their most recent update did not cover my game (Evil Dead: Regeneration), despite the fact their site advertises it as backwards compatible. Since I performed the most recent update I cannot preform an older update so the game can be played on my system. The problem is, I'm out of town so I can't return the game, plus the fact it's one of my favorite classic XBox games. Does anyone know how to update the XBox or do some sort of backwards compatibility thing so I can play my game?
Thanks in advance and feel free to backchannel me if their are any problems!

The list can be a bit inaccurate it seems. For a while, it said Future Perfect was back compatible, so I got it off eBay for a whole £1.27, it didn't work, and then next time I checked the list, it wasn't on it any more. Still, at least I have my old Xbox to play it on!
