Loved Final Fantasy characters you hated?

Alright, since I did a hated FF chars you liked, what are the loved FF chars you hated?

For me:

Sabin: It seems the thing he's remembered the most for is suplexing a train, which wasn't canon. He never suplexed a train in my playthrough.

Sephiroth: I don't really hate him - he has a cool look and some cool moments - but I just don't think he's in the same class as Kefka and Kuja, in terms of character or accomplishments.

Quistis: It always seemed to me that she got the least hate out of the VIII chars when I thought she was the worst one. Just boring.

Lulu: Thought she was just dull. Plus, she has a dress made out of belts, which is way stupider than anything anyone else is wearing in X.

Ok, hate's a strong word, but I don't like them as much as others do.

Sabin ALWAYS suplexes a train on my playthrough.

I have to say while I don't hate him I never found Auron to be as impressive as others make him. yeah he's the least obnoxious character in the game (other than Kimahri, who barely even qualifies as a character) but it's kinda damning him with faint praise. everything about his is just "cliche old badass" and I've seen that archetype done way better elsewhere.

Maybe i was because the hype for the game during my childhood was absolutely insna,e but I got off not really liking any of the FInal Fantasy VII characters. I softened up a little on some of them, but I still don't like Sephiroth, Tifa, or Cloud.

I also wasn't a fan of Lulu. I hated her weapon and Magic hasn't really been that useful in a Final Fantasy game in a long time. Once you get to a certain point, X isn't any different.

Cause its not his f***ing story. Tidus and Yuna have to work through things themselves, and it wouldn't exactly make for an interesting game if Auron told everyone everything from the beginning.

Everyone from FF7 who wasn't Vincent or Red XIII. Honestly don't get the crazed obsession with the game. It's good, but not the messiah of RPGs like everyone makes it out to be.

You dare dislike lulu? Grrr! Shes awesome! Seriously, for me, i would probably go with Lightning and Cloud. Lightning for me is just not easy to like.

The entire cast of FFIX except for one or two who were somewhat tolerable. Villain was bloody awful as well.

Lightning is my favorite Final Fantasy character, its not fun being a lighting fan.

The problem with that is that it makes Auron look like an asshole for keeping all these secrets that could have made an already very dangerous journey just a little bit easier for the children of his two best friends.
