I needed to let this out here.
For those that don't really know me, I'm a 37 year old man, that isn't happy.
I'm a dj and up until a few months ago it was the most important thing in my life.
I was chewed out by the boss for something I was probably at fault for, but he was unbelievably disrespectful and that killed it for me. After 8 years, it's time to move on, the asshole just made me realize it.
I don't have to do this the rest of my life. I'm fine with that idea now.
I'm burned out and while I can't say my life sucks, my pilot light has burned out. There's no fire. I'm not satisfied. I don't know who I am, or I'm afraid to try and find out who I am.
The only thing that seems to interest me is the concept of being involved with tv, like a correspondent at G4 (which is sadly never going to happen now) traveling the world on assignment, doing something fun which I have seemingly kept myself from doing a lot of-enjoying myself.
I'm not expecting answers. i just had to get this out. I'm ready for change, but i don't know what it will be. I'm trying hard to figure out something I like. I'm single and there's nothing stopping me from doing stuff like that. Just guts and an opening
Thanks

Being near the same age I understand some of what you are saying. Just remember life is the attitude you put out. Take a minute remember who you are and take pride in it. No one gets to tell you who or what you are. Best of luck on your journey.

Well, that may sound silly but... if you've been a DJ and you'd like to work in TV, how about trying to start a show about the life of DJs or something like that? If Honey Boo Boo can make so much money, there's no reason something that's actually interesting wouldn't work.

A friend of mine is wanting to get something started on youtube that should be a pretty big undertaking if we can pull it off, but it would be like television

Even if it doesn't turn out the way you expected, at least you're putting in the effort. That in itself is fullfulling.

Even if it doesn't turn out the way you expected, at least you're putting in the effort. That in itself is fullfulling. Plus if that doesn't bring in enough revenue, at least you'll have footage to show to a TV station to pitch the idea to them.

Unsure if it's uncensored or not, so language warning.
