So, who gets canned first: Doug Marrone, Rob Chudzinski or Raiders head coach X? Is this even a contest? Chan Gailey and Pat Freaking Shurmur got multiple seasons to suck, when's the last time a Raiders coach got that opportunity?

Norv Turner or Whisenhut for OC please Big Cat please.... I don't want Turner anywhere near Carolina. His play calling is John Fox levels of bad.

Tony Gonzalez still says he's "95 percent" certain that he will retire after the season.
Dolphins confirmed they will be unveiling a new logo at the draft.

Norv Turner is one of the best pure offensive playcallers around. He'd do wonders with Cam Newton. You just don't want him being head coach, but he's a proven excellent coordinator.

FOX NFL Sunday analyst tweeted early Friday morning that it "looks like" Montreal Alouettes coach Marc Trestman will be the next coach of the Bears.
The New York Daily News is "hearing" that Jets assistant head coach/linebackers Bob Sutton will be named defensive coordinator for the Chiefs.

Even though I think at least two of the three are destined to fail, I give the Bills, Browns and Bears a lot of credit for having the fortitude to think outside the box with their head coaching hires.
Instead of recycling failed former coaches like Marty Schottenheimer, Norv Turner, Jim Mora Jr. or Dennis Erickson, they're willing to give a try to somebody whose never held a clipboard at the NFL level before.
These are three gutsy hires, and I think it says a lot about the current batch of unemployed head coaches that these three franchises are willing to go to the Canadian Football League or the collegiate level to make a relatively unknown hire.

Trestman is a real sneaky good hire seeing how he was a coordinator in the NFL from 1985-2004
