One is America's ONLY Humor Site since 1958, the other "Will Ruin Your Life" (If not your Vocabulary) and they're both Honey Traps of useless information to the average netizen's free time. Too often have I had 5+ Tabs open of BOTH of these sites just browsing from one article to another. Which One is more inescapable? {Spoiler}BTW I voted for Cracked due to the fact that it has a Decent iOS app while TVTropes doesn't

TVTropes has the advantage in that it's a Wiki setup and uses its own jargon so it adds an additional "what the f*** does that even mean?" factor that you want to figure out. Cracked is easy to just read one of their lists and then close the tab.

Cracked... I usually can't escape that sight until I find a loop of linked articles... and that can take hours sometimes...

Cracked only can hold me for about 10 mins or so, Tropes steals soul.

Cracked. I hardly go to tvtropes ever since the whole pedophilia thing they had a year ago. I know, I know, not the entire website but it just sort of ruined it for me because, well, you know.

Both are like crack to me (no pun intended), but TV Tropes has eaten up many more hours of my valuable time over the years than Cracked.

I don't really like either of them, they both seem superficial and in a certain style that I just don't get with. So I'll say Dinosaur Dracula, Matt is great.

I never found TV tropes addicting, and it got worse the more self-referential it got. I have spent a long time on Cracked though, it's contributors seem less arrogant over writing a website with useless information than Cracked.

To me, Cracked might as well be called "SnarkyLists.com". TV Tropes is not only addictive, but I find it a lot funnier and more insightful.

I voted for Cracked because I never bothered to look up TV tropes until now. As a guy who is in the process of writing a story that's almost at 80 000 words, I might be doing a significant amount of rewriting. Edit: There's so much stuff here. DAMN YOU DAN VS PONIES!

Tropes is more wiki like (though I'd take wiki over tropes).
Cracked....eh, I'm over their schtick so I get about half way through an article then close the tab.

TV Tropes is incredibly lame, IMHO.
Cracked is amusing, but I browse TIL at reddit, which is at least 50% taken from Cracked lists.
