Who do you think has had pushes that were short-lived? Or fizzled out after losing a title or something?
I was remembering earlier how Big Zeke had this whole "unstoppable force" push by going through jobbers and then at some point became a jobber himself.
R-Truth's main event run did not last long. Maybe from the Summer to Fall of 2011 and after Survivor Series, he was back to the mid-card.
Tamina went from being the Usos' valet to Santino's valet and having some relevance, then being one Smackdown's heel girl stable (With Rosa and Alicia for a brief period). Then she competed for the diva's title at one point and then to being irrelevant.
The same could be said about Alicia Fox back in 2011 when she ran with K2 and Eve.

Alicia Fox got demoted for crushing Beth Phoenix's face
R-Truth got suspended

Pick any Diva and this applies to them. There's usually two of three Divas who always get TV time and the rest just take turns.

Tensai holds pinfall victories over JOHN CENA & CM PUNK.
Now he jobs to Santino in comedy matches on house shows.
Also agree on the Divas. They take turns with pushes. It's always the champion, who loses to a challenger in a non-title match. They wrestle at the PPV. If the champion wins, rinse and repeat with somebody else. If there is a new champion, a new heel/face steps up and the former champion gets thrown back into the mix. Everybody else is jobber fodder.

Zeke, master of the bodyslam! I guess the other wrestlers figured out how not to get bodyslammed anymore.

Brodus was doing good pretty good until he faced off with Big Show. After that its been off and on People rarely do benefit from feuding with Big Show.

That's not really a fault of booking the feud with Big Show so much as it is lack of follow up. In the case of Brodus, the problem was that he was booked as an "undefeated" character, and the "undefeated" guys have to lose at some point.

He makes them, aside from main eventers, look like jokes.

Tyson Kidd had a nice mini-push leading up to Money in the Bank, then he faded back to obscurity (unfortunately).

Not even a match. Just killed him Brodus is 400 lbs, and was mostly beating low carders in squash matches. His highest profile victories were over The Miz, Jack Swagger, and Dolph Ziggler, who, even in their depushed jobber status, put up quite a challenge. Once he met Big Show, he finally met his match. Brodus needed someone to put him down, otherwise, we'd just be complaining about Brodus killing everyone's momentum.

"Little Evahn Barn" kept getting pushed really high before almost immediately being depushed for getting really high.

Daniel Bryan had to be the first person who actually did benefit since Cena's feud with Show back when he was US Champion. and he was the first one to benefit since... uh.. I dunno.
