It's a shame they are putting more effort in the filler ppvs than they did when they were doing the 12 month schedule. Haha seriously.

Okay, I'm really intrigued. The taped PPVs all sound unique and could work out well. The only concern is the whole taped thing since that could bite them in the ass.

X-Division is gonna get plenty of love in these taped PPVs it looks like. And if they air months apart, I don't see how them being taped and kinda breaking kayfabe would be too bad. I'd be up for a $15 night of awesome wrestling. And I wouldn't see much of a reason to read the spoilers if it doesn't affect what I'm watching on TV the next week.

This is a really good move. Hopefully this will lead to better PPVs and a better product. I want to like TNA but they go from Aces and Eights to Claire Lynch to Bully and Brooke. I'm a big fan of a lot of the roster, but I have serious doubts about the creative.

Destination X was their best PPV wtf This, they should have kept DX instead of Genesis, especially considering they added the stipulation last year about the X Division champion cashing in for the World Title. But other than that it sounds good

The IYH-esque PPVs harken back to the themes they used to use during the weekly-PPV era, which isn't a bad thing.

I like the look of all those specials aside from the ECW one (I loved ECW as much as the next guy but haven't we had enough reunions now?).
The World Cup sounds very interesting (kinda like the wrestling equivalent of the Davis Cup or the Ryder Cup - pretty cool) and I love having the World X Cup back. I also actually look forward to the KO one because I'm hoping some outside talents will be brought in which would be great!
I was pretty skeptical of these taped PPV's until I read more about them. They sound great.

honest truth it's a step in the right direction. I personally feel the wrestling industry's entire approach to PPV feels very dated and any step away from the monthly format is a good idea. there's too much free wrestling and not enough demand nowadays, to say nothing of how often this stuff gets pirated.

But other than that it sounds good Well, depending on how recent this is...I could see it have been a last second decision, so you kinda had to keep Genesis. However, I do see how it would be tough to have a PPV that centers around a certain part of the roster, when you only have 4 PPVs a year.

But other than that it sounds good My thoughts exactly but, as mentioned, I think it was a last minute decision with Genesis already announced. Wouldn't be surprised if January 2014 was a Destination X event that happened to be something along the lines of a Destination X/Hardcore Justice hybrid.

* TNA Hardcore Justice 2 - ECW reunion style "hardcore" show featuring hardcore stipulation matches bringing in ECW talents. >.< Can people just let ECW die already. At this point, TNA pretty much raping a corpse that they don't even own. If they want a hardcore reunion PPV, they should rape the corpse of XPW or IWA:MS instead

PWInsider had a follow up on the Hardcore Justice 2 thing:
We've heard from a few sources within TNA that the taped Hardcore Justice 2 PPV won't so much be about an ECW reunion as much as featuring a few of those faces, just as the X-Division PPV will feature some former X talents. However, the verbiage internally for the show certainly lends credence to a reunion as it makes references to "reigniting Extreme" and "legendary combatants" returning again.

Plus, it's just a matter of timing in the calendar: ideally, you'd have a major PPV for each season, with Genesis in the winter, Lockdown in spring, Slammaversary in summer, Bound for Glory in autumn. Destination X has been a late summer/early fall PPV lately, right? If so, its understandable.

Live TV specials, and live internet streaming is the future.
Charging for live streaming is dumb, especially since you can make them sit through ads, since it is live.

Not a bad idea, hope it works out for them (it probably wont).
