Just saw Bret Hart tweet the following:

Looked at my wikipedia page ... two mistakes in the first sentence?!

This is the first time ive ever looked at it ...
So I had a look and found this on his wiki page:
"Bret Ginge Hart (born July 2, 1957) is a Canadian writer, actor and retired professional wrestler currently signed with WWE under a Legends contract."
So obviously someone f***ed with his middle name as I believe it's Sergeant, but what's the second mistake?

He was on the tv show Lonesome Dove and also had a part in a play where he acted as a Genie. So yes, at one point he did. Edit: He was also on an episode of the Simpsons. Just noticed on the right hand side under "trained by" it says: "The Iron Sheik [citation needed]"  |

Is he under a legends contract? I am pretty sure it's this. Some of the appearances he's done along with turning down a lot of stuff from WWE seems to point to him not being under a Legends deal. A lot of people see guys working with WWE and jump to them having one when they don't. |

Basically every time they go to Canada they try and get him to show ref, announce a match manage a face against a minor heel, just stuff to pop the crowd and he doesn't want to do that. He wants his appearances to mean something so he doesn't fall in the category of guys like Duggan, Iron Sheik, Simmons or even Mick Foley who's appearances don't really mean anything any more. |

Fair enough, and I really appreciate it. I'd hate to get as sick of bret, probably my favourite childhood wrestler, as I am of some of these over "legends". |
