The talk shows in general usually suck. Even Piper's Pit, outside of the memorable ones ( Snuka coconut, Hulk/Andre, et al) could be hit and miss. I generally agree. There's been some epic moments on the talk shows though and its a nice change of pace in moving a feud forward (sometimes). I was most disappointed he didn't give any love to Brother Love, or the Barber Shop.

You mentioned the Barber Shop so of course the Rockers break-up would be the big one there. It's just that there's usually so many forgettable " episodes".

The only argument I would make is that I think if they went epic every time, it would become too telegraphed and people would expect something huge and I tend to like the change of pace even if 95% of the "episodes" are just timefilling garbaj. I remember the one where Jericho put Shawn through the Jeritron quite vividly as well.

I like Miz, but I don't like his feud with Cesaro.
I'm sure that Cesaro will look good going over a former World Champion, but I feel like the only reason that Cesaro is facing a "fallen star" like The Miz is becaue they won't actually build up anyone to Cesaro's level.

The only memorable Barber Shop skit was when Marty Jannetty tried to escape out the window like a coward from Shawn Michaels.

In fairness, Shawn was wearing an all black version of Eddie Murphy's Raw leather suit. That and the combined mullets of Shawn and Brutus would send anybody running, especially if they were coked out of their mind, which Marty almost assuredly was.

I thought that WWE might have Miz take the US title from Cesaro, allowing Cesaro to move up the card and protecting him by having him lose to a former WWE champion. I don't think Miz is catching on very well as a face though, so I'm wondering how far he's going to go.

It seems like Miz, even in his depushed state is above the U.S. Title, which has become the new European/TV Title ever since the brand split ended and Ryder won the belt. I can see a lot of the upper midcard borderline main event guys as IC Champ, but not U.S. Champ.

His talk show usually sucks. I like him, though.
EDIT:I legitimately laughed at the "Your mom does line" for at least thirty seconds. Thinking about it still makes me laugh.

Pure and simple. It's like they've made sure to make him an even more obnoxious, redundant, unfunny persona than he was during his heel run. He's becoming painful to watch or listen to at this point. My thoughts exactly. And then they made it even worse by having the guy do commentary, so you have to listen to that awful crap all through the match.

Face Miz is really no different to heel Miz - I have no idea what they are trying up do with him, it's only a matter of time till the crowds turn on him big time. Which will be fun.

They're doing what they do with all of their top stars who can't fit in the title picture. Just throwing him out on TV to keep him semi-relevant.

I was in favor of the face turn and it seemed good for the first week or so but good god, he is f***ing horrible now.

Miz sux period and u know it. Don't say he sux as a face cuz that makes people believe that he's good as a heel. Miz sux so super hard that words don't comprehend. I cringed during a Flair promo. No excuse for that, Flair is a god and to have him come out to help get the Miz over as a face is beneath him. Miz needs to be off my TV please for the love of god. I'm tired of my DVR giving Miz segments fake ratings. I don't watch that crap.

The difference between Miz and Del Rio's face turns is that Miz is fighting for the fans and pandering to them whereas Del Rio is fighting for his friend and his heritage. So Del Rio's is more genuine while Miz's is too cheesy for comfort.
I don't get what's so hard about WWE crafting his character. Austin barely changed from heel to face. Same with Rock. If he wants to pattern himself after them so badly why doesn't he act THE SAME as before (very serious, straight face, evil look, pushing I'M AWESOME) but getting in the face of heels instead.
Seems like a simple formula to me.

I don't think its them this time. It's him. He is not connecting with the fans the way a face does and he is trying way too hard and it seems "unnatural" (lack of a better word). The type of face he's trying to be doesnt suit him. IMO its exactly like Rocky Maivia, except the crowds arent shitting on Miz, yet. I'm also not suggesting he can do what the Rock did and find that sweet spot where he can connect with them, its just the way I feel about face Miz now is how I felt about "blue chipper".

He was "over" tonight because of Ric Flair. Oh come on. Miz has NEVER had problems with being over,he might actually be one of the few in that area. Face or heel,he always got loud reactions. Though I have to agree that this is starting to get bad. I was really excited about this turn and it was fine for a short time, but it's getting lame now. They entirely made Miz a talk show host,I sometimes forget that the guy is a wrestler. The show has been good but it ran its course imo,it needs to be done. Especially since we're getting close to the RTWM and Miz has to get himself into a feud now. But sorrily,I can see them have Miz do something with a celebrity at Wrestlemania.
